Find Cruises in Tuan Chau

Because my flight itinerary was booked in advance, I later found out that most cruise hotels require you to arrive at the port by 12 PM. Unfortunately, my flight arrived in Hanoi in the afternoon. So, based on the hotel's suggestion, I opted for a tiring journey: after getting off the plane and clearing customs, I rented a car directly to the pier, then took a speedboat to find the parked cruise hotel. It turns out that if you only have one night, a Ha Long Bay cruise hotel is definitely worth experiencing. It's a new establishment, so the facilities are all new, the environment is great, and the service is excellent. Highly recommended!

Superb experience from check-in to check-out. Outstanding service by Bryan and team onboard - they were attentive, helpful and fun! Food onboard was great with good buffet spread and delicious 6-course dinner! On the boat, room is tastefully decorated (enjoyed the balcony and bath tub!) and there is much space to chill and hangout. Excellent itinerary providing excellent view of and immersion in Halong Bay. Timing of activities was good and not that crowded making them enjoyable and unhurried.

I went on the cruise with my two sons, and we had a fantastic time. This was definitely the highlight of our entire Vietnam trip! The views were like heaven on earth, and being surrounded by karst islands from the ship felt truly magical. Our room was spacious, and we made full use of the jacuzzi and balcony, soaking in the stunning scenery. While there were only a few activities, they were perfect for someone like me in my 60s or for those who prefer a more relaxing cruise experience. We still got to enjoy a bamboo boat ride, explore the Dark and Bright Cave, take part in a cooking class, fishing village tour, and try squid fishing The food was excellent, and the staff were enthusiastic and friendly. Thank you for making our Vietnam trip so memorable!

It is an older, but authentic and clean ship. The service is of first class and it is the Cruise Manager Dan that is making a lot of effort and is always available.

Relaxing cruise experience in quieter location. Overall is wonderful experience but take note of their location..its my 2nd time at halong bay overnight cruise. They are not cruising at the main attractions area , so its definitely not as beautiful and scenic .Which also means not as crowded and busy with other cruise boats. Boat is slightly old but still in good condition and clean. Ruby and especially andre the team is friendly and always smiling and attentive. Food options are plenty and really yummy. The dining room ambiance is simple and decorated differently for every meal. Sightseeing option is minimal so great for who wants to relax and for families with children. Our room was well decorated for our anniversary and the team sing a song and give performance which was a surprise.

Our cruise was very lovely and the staff especially our tour manager Harry was exceptional. The food on the boat was very high quality especially the set menu for dinner. The views were amazing and the expeditions were lots of fun. I do have these concerns - on trip.com it states drinks and snacks are included on the cruise, this is misleading. This refers to one mocktail 250ml drink, and a bit of potato chips. Do not expect free drinks like water or soda or even just coolaid to be free to drink - you have to pay for everything. There is filtered water that you have to refill yourself at the back of the boat but this was a bit dodgy if you ask me. Breakfast and lunch was also good - not extravagant but hearty. There are also some hidden costs here and there where you have to pay extra for this tour or extra for that, which I whish was just all inclusive because I don't want to be bothered by paying for more things when on a trip.

We had an excellent night aboard the Doria Cruise. The staff were incredibly attentive, always smiling and very considerate, which made the experience truly warm and enjoyable. The boat itself is very well-equipped: the pool is a real bonus, the terrace is spacious for enjoying the view, and the cabin was comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the kayaking activity, which allowed us to explore the bay up close. However, there are a few minor points for improvement: the food is generally good and very generous, even if it's not gourmet cuisine. We also noticed a slight odor in the cabin's bathroom (which we didn't report as it was tolerable). Overall, it's a wonderful experience that I highly recommend for visiting Lan Ha Bay!

I participated in this three-day, two-night trip alone with my two children. Before the trip, the online service staff informed me that it was suitable for children and assured me that I could enjoy the journey. The communication and transfers from Hanoi to the cruise ship were excellent! We arrived in Hanoi at 07:00, but were exhausted and rested in a cafe. Even though we changed our pick-up location on the same day, the luxurious shuttle bus still safely transported us to the pier. During the trip, I am very grateful to all the staff on the Le Journey Luxury Cruise, especially Mark, who took care of us for three days and two nights, and Owen, who took us to Viet Hai Village on the second day. They were thoughtful and provided us with a sense of adventure while ensuring our complete safety. I loved the Lan Ha Bay itinerary, including cycling through the fields, experiencing the amazing fish foot massage, kayaking freely in Lan Ha Bay to explore caves, and walking on the fine sand of the mysterious white beach. Thank you! The cruise room was spacious, comfortable, and fragrant! We could fully immerse ourselves in the beautiful scenery of Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay. The sailing was comfortable, and I loved the cruise route selection, which allowed us to get closer to the beautiful scenery and escape the hustle and bustle. The food on the cruise was also excellent! Whether it was the buffet at lunch, the set menu at dinner, or the set menu at Viet Hai Village, everything was delightful and full of surprises! I highly recommend the Le Journey Luxury Cruise three-day, two-night itinerary for families with children. The activities, such as cycling in Viet Hai Village and the fish massage, made it an unforgettable adventure for the kids!

Overall, I found this experience underwhelming. There were only a few activities, and two of the three were scheduled early in the morning (before 9 a.m.), which made them effectively unavailable for anyone who isn’t an early riser. The remaining activities were brief and not particularly engaging — it felt more like a dining cruise than a full excursion. From that perspective, the experience fell short of expectations. The service also left room for improvement. The wait staff didn’t seem properly trained — for example, they struggled with something as simple as pouring a beer. The food prioritized quantity over quality, and I was surprised to see that different tables were served different dishes without ever being given menus or options. It seemed that choices were made for us based solely on allergies or dietary restrictions. The cruise itself was stationary for much of the time, and the 50-minute tender ride each way made the journey feel unnecessarily long. When I tried to relax on the balcony, local vendors repeatedly approached the boat in small craft to sell items, which disrupted the atmosphere. All in all, the experience did not feel worth the price, and I wouldn’t recommend it to others.

I want to warn everyone against booking a cruise with this company. They sell cruises that do not actually exist as advertised. We purchased a 3-day, 2-night cruise and paid extra for a large 54-square-meter cabin on Deck 3. However, after we had already checked in, we were informed that the cruise would last only one night. The next day, we were taken back to the port and transferred to a completely different cruise for another night. As a result, we did not receive the cabin we had paid for. Instead, we were downgraded to a tiny cabin on Deck 1. The promised itinerary was not followed, as we spent time returning to the port and waiting for a new check-in process. We lost valuable vacation time because of this. To make matters worse, the cabin was extremely dirty and poorly maintained. Please be very careful when booking with this company. The reality is completely different from what is advertised. The photos and descriptions do not match the experience you will actually get. That being said, I would like to acknowledge that the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the trip, and the food was tasty and enjoyable. Unfortunately, these positive aspects could not make up for the misleading advertising, downgraded accommodation, and disappointing overall experience.
