Nous sommes allés manger au château de Bournel Le cadre est magnifique. Les assiettes sont bien présentées.Par contre pour truite en gravlax aux agrumes.4 petits bouts de truite, c'est quand même un peu léger et pour les desserts rien de formidables par rapport au cadre du restaurant.Par contre le service n'est pas au top.Nous avons commandé un apéritif et une bouteille de vin.On nous à emmener les entrées et nous n'avions pas les apéritifs.Le serveur les avait oubliées.Il est donc venu les rechercher. Ensuite, nous avons mangé l'entrée, mais le serveur avait oublié le vin.. C'est un peu dommage.

I had high expectations for this hotel, it was more expensive than those we had stayed in previously but I thought it would be a treat. Unfortunately it was very average. I had booked a superior double room, the photos showed two very large rooms unfortunately ours turned out to be the very small one. There was nothing to put your case on other than the bed, in fact there was just no room to have an open suitcase anywhere. It advertises toiletries which is a liquid soap and a shampoo, the bathrobes were non existent, a very old fashioned hairdryer which got too hot to hold so was pretty useless, there was nowhere to hang your clothes on in the bathroom. The shower also had black mould around the base. The reception is in the pro shop and closes at 6pm, the bar seemed to close also at 6pm and was in darkness even though they said it was open. There was no internet connection or phone signal in the room. I could go on but suffice it to say it is a very dis- jointed service and the overall experience was disappointing. Maybe the management should go and visit La Villa de Mazamet, to see first hand what a perfect hotel looks like and see how it is run.

Le cadres de st Beau, les plats sont bons et gourmands. Il faut penser à réclamer pour avoir les boissons et en temps de forte chaleur un peu dommage. Mais une heure d’attente avec les desserts commandés en début de repas, pour deux boules de glaces et un fondant. Le restaurant n’était pas plein du tout

Mooie omgeving. Middelmatige service. Weinig aandacht voor gasten. Restaurant (en die in de omgeving) op zondag gesloten. Complex heeft aan binnenzijde achterstallig onderhoud. Prachtige golfbaan maar minimaal onderhouden. Prijs/kwaliteit zeker niet in verhouding.

Chambres vieillottes, ampoules de la salle de bain qui ne fonctionnent pas, plusieurs prises électriques non plus. Cerise sur le gâteau… au moment de payer la réservation (prépayée sur Booking) l’accueil nous explique qu’il faut compter un supplément de 25€ car ils ne travaillent plus avec Booking et que les prix ont changé. (Ils n’ont soit disant pas pu en informer les clients (nous) avant) Petit déjeuner en buffet très léger pour 20€ par personne. Évidemment rien à redire sur le cadre, magnifique !

Lieu magnifique, déçue une seconde fois, je n'y retournerai pas. Nouveau propriétaire Rapport qualité, quantité...prix excessif restauration déplorable Je ne joue pas au golf Seul l'accueil et le lieu sont OK. Restauration à éviter..

Séduits par le site internet, nous venons de passer huit jours à l’hôtel du Chateau de Bournel. Ce site s’est avéré bien trompeur. Si le cadre extérieur est somptueux, les prestations hôtelières sont très loin d’être au même niveau même si le personnel présent fait tout ce qu’il peut pour pallier les déficiences de la Direction qui semble ne pas connaître les règles prioritaires de l’hôtellerie. (Chambre pas faite une journée sans avertissement de la Direction, cuisinier absent par deux fois et remplaçant désastreux, wifi quasi inexistant, entretien général laissant à désirer).
