The room was spacious, clean and the bed mattress was comfortable. Overall it was good stay for us. No complaints.

It was okay, the service was bland, they mistakes my room the 1st time, but they were nice and got the job done. Didn't stay long enough to give a good review on every aspect

Standard Samsung hotel, including breakfast, it is more convenient to have bus No. 22 nearby. It is more convenient to go here near UIUC, and the car is okay mainly at night and on weekends. There is also the vicinity of Line 1, in the northwest and southwest of UIUC, within 0.4 miles of the Line 1 station is still good, do not transfer, the waiting time is more than 20 minutes.

The low rating on the booking should be caused by the outdated hardware before the renovation. The current living comfort is acceptable, but there are still problems. For example, the length of the TV plug in some rooms cannot reach the wall socket. Some rooms do not have microwave ovens, and the configuration is inconsistent. There is a bus to the University City, 5 minutes away from the hotel, the parking lot is large, you can stop at will. I forgot to tip the cleaning aunt according to the American habit, I'm very sorry, I will remember it next time

Compared with Marriott Hilton, the price is very high, the service is good, the facilities are complete, the room is clean and the bedding is comfortable, the TV is big but I forgot to take a picture, free parking, the second picture is the lobby, it is very spacious and stylish, there is breakfast, American-style

The overall service quality of the hotel is good and the management is good. Due to partial maintenance and repairs, the hotel also provides free breakfast for staying guests as compensation to make guests feel warm. The quiet environment is suitable for customers who like quietness.

I was quite upset because the pictures on the site made it seem like there were bathtubs but I would have had to pay double just to be able to take a bath. There was a fake nail on the floor in the hallway for the entire weekend. I really enjoyed the bed and the breakfast. The staff was polite.

The hotel is a bit run down. Only one elevator worked and it took about 20 minutes to wait for it. You had to push the button to open the door when inside, otherwise it would not open. We had a couple tell us that they thought they were trapped in the elevator and it took them a while to figure out that they had to press the door open button. We would have taken the stairs, however the stairs led directly to the outside. It was -20 and snowing.

The hotel is under "renovation" which meant some things were new and some were old. The bathroom had a newer sink & toilet but they painted over the old wallpaper and the shower had mold spots. The shower did not have hot water on the first day. One of the elevators was not in service, so everyone ended up using the stairs which was really loud and woke us up multiple times.

Things I would like to see the next time I stay there would be: Daily Newspaper. Better selection of snacks to purchase, and maybe aspirin to purchase. These items could be provided in a vending machine near the lobby. A small self in the shower, chest high, to put the shampoo, soap and conditioner on

One of our rooms didn’t have the capability to control the thermostat. The room was over 80 degrees for 5 straight days. Hotel management said they would fix it, but never did. They gave us a terrible box fan that did nothing. Another room had dirty/used underwear left in it. One room didn’t have a microwave. Another didn’t have an ice bucket. The lobby bathroom smelled like a kitty litter box. The lobby bar/restaurant wasn’t open/operating. The outside door to stairwell was left unlocked for anyone to enter. Didn’t feel safe. The parking lot was a sheet of ice for 4 of the days because the hotel refused to put salt down. Two people in our group fell hard. The hotel keys didn’t work for several of our rooms multiple times. Only 1 of the 2 elevators worked and we literally waited for 15+ minutes to get our luggage cart onto the elevator. We had way too much to carry up 4 flights of stairs. The continental breakfast was terrible. All 5 days only 2 of the 3 cereal containers were actually filled. The bread/bagels were wrapped individually and hard/stale. There wasn’t even a waffle maker. The convenient store inside the hotel was a huge area and over 90% of the shelves were empty. There were several TVs in the lobby area that didn’t work. There were several light fixtures in our 5 rooms that were broken and/or missing light bulbs. The garbage cans in the lobby were over flowing and disgusting. There were no cameras in the hallways of our floors or the doorway entrances.

Disgusting, the lobby smelled awful. The room we stayed in was SO hot, tried to turn the air on didn’t work. I called at midnight to complain they sent up a box fan that blew around hot air around. Never even tried to fix the air. This place needs to be demolished to the ground, one elevator we were here for IHSA State.
