This is a mid-range brand of the Accor hotel chain and theoretically offers a good level of comfort, albeit at European-level prices. I stayed five nights to experience Curitiba and its surroundings in detail, though five days of continuous rain and low temperatures were obviously not ideal for such a visit. The hotel did not provide or even rent umbrellas for guests, though advised me where I could by one if prepared to walk a couple of hundred meters under the deluge. I found the accommodation satisfactory in most respects, but there were a number of very minor things that were not quite as they might have been. My reasonably sized room was on the cold side, and the fan heater seemed to do little but blow cold air around the room until I managed to reset it by random pressing of buttons (no instructions were provided), which I did on several occasions and still don’t know how I succeeded. The shampoo/gel dispenser in the shower was empty, though I always bring my own soap anyway. The breakfast buffet was extensive, though nothing exceptional by Brazilian standards. On my first evening I dined in the hotel restaurant, finding that my free drink voucher was valid only for either of the two cheapest beers on the menu. Why even bother? At the hotel’s Peruvian themed restaurant I ordered a vegetarian ceviche as a starter, and a veggie chaufa as a main, but the waiter brought me a totally wrong (meat) dish, then seemed a bit put out that I rejected it – she was visibly reprimanded by the maitre d’. I ate elsewhere on the other nights of my stay but noticed on my return to the hotel one evening that diners were being loudly serenaded by a ?Peruvian style band that didn’t seem very conducive to a quiet working dinner, nor to a romantic occasion. My room had thick curtains drawn across the window, which hid the view of a dim and dreary inner courtyard. On the plus side, the wifi was fast and consistent, the bed very comfortable, the safe for valuables reassuring and the working desk functional. The central location was very convenient for seeing the main sights, and getting around the rather large city by uber was correspondingly inexpensive, making up for the steep room rate.

The hotel ”have” parking, but is a partner and the value is not included in the hosting simulation, with an extra daily value to be paid to store the car at the time of check-in; The room was only 2 single beds because there was a mistake in the system when booking. They changed our room and the cleaning of the new room was not very satisfactory; we were calling the air conditioning and was not working, when we interphoned to the reception to notify the air, the phone was not working too. We had a whole day on the road, it was over 10 a.m. and we had a little child, we just took bath and went to bed, the next morning we notified the air and the reception staff sent the technician. We returned from the tour afternoon, and we were informed that the technician was preparing the air, but it was not working yet. We opened the air and saw a dirt crust, we returned to the reception to tell that, besides not working, it was completely dirty. There was room available to exchange and we spent the second night in heat. In short: we spent 4 nights in heat because the technician who said to clean the air, at least did not spent a pan in the air conditioned. In our 5ª night they managed to exchange us to a room that The new room was running with the air, the air was swallowing water into the room, and the room was flooded, the amazing floor was already all-smooth and broken, indicating that it was an old problem. We were tired of complaining, we were still, in the next 2 nights we had there We didn't leave before the hotel because the full value of the reservation had already been discounted on our card at the time of the reservation; and also because the staff were very well on our attention and did what they could to help us.

I was in this hotel in late December, I had an experience that was not very good but we go by the good part of this hotel is the location is in front of the Municipal Market and in front of the bus point that makes the journey to the tourist points. Now the part that is not so good, breakfast has diversity, but when some item finishes, they don't rest fast, the breads are coated, the dry cake, juice is not natural ... the room where I stayed the box was well-fetched, I had no air conditioning control, so I arrived and asked the reception for this control more than once, but I did not receive it. And I had a countertime, the hotel around 15:00 only leaves hot water, as the system is gas, so it is impossible to take a bath. I called to inform and ask for help, the information I had already seen, well, in that meantime the water was over, because the bomb had a problem. Whenever they called at the reception they gave a deadline, but the deadline was not met ... finally was a disorder! I think the information could be clearer because problems happen, but the way it is conducted is a differential.

The negative points were that the small bathroom, stubborn, sanitary vase with a sweat look, lack of protective screen in the janeka of the apartment, in view of our stay in the 14th floor, the bathroom box was without the guide, Leaving the glass half that loose, which worried about accidents in the bathroom. The furniture was old, ( fridgebar)... The positive points are parking at the price of 30 reals per day ria...com manobrist, the excellent beds, the excellent location, near the municipal market, bakers. The very good breakfast, I would like to give my special praise to Quetein, Eliane and Sheila officials for being careful and performing a great service. The hotel was also close to the botanical garden, shopping, I think it's worth the benefit.

Hotel looks nice but their billing and food service are awful. They refused to cook me a vegetarian meal, telling me I should eat chicken. Eventually they gave me a plain plate of chips. I complained at check out and the hotel took the price of the meal off the bill. Excellent, I thought that was that. No such luck. A month later, the hotel billed my credit card for the meal. But they didn’t send an invoice. With no invoice, I couldn’t claim on my expenses and I wasn’t even sure this was for the meal - it could have been fraud. I repeatedly called and emailed the hotel but they ignored me. Reported to head office also, but they took six weeks to reply and still sent no invoice. Eventually got a local colleague to sort out the mess. I understand the hotel actually broke Brazilian law charging a credit card when the card holder was not present.

I stayed at Radisson for one night from Thursday to Friday April/2021. My bedroom was luxury double room, and the reservation was made 2 weeks in advance through booking.com app, i got a fair price that included breakfast. I really enjoyed the bedroom size, with a pretty spacious bathroom, working desk with comfortable chair. Big TV and gigantic confy bed. The reception clerk was really polite, I had done the Pre booking on line, it took 5 minutes to finalize the check in and get the room card. I drove to Curitiba, and the hotel counts with valet service at extra cost. I like the ironing board in the hotel bedroom. Nice touch the washing cloths, lots of hotels in Brazil don’t have those. Extra points for the good hair dryer. Good toiletries- body moisturizer, shampoo and hair conditioner, 2 soap bars, tissues and shower caps. Fluffy and big towels, plenty of clothes hanger I Stayed on the 3rd floor, next time i’ll ask for a higher room, so i can have a better view of the Japanese Square Park. The hotel location is pretty good, in a high end neighborhood and close to downtown. I had dinner at the hotel restaurant, the menu didn’t have a lot of variety- I ended up having filet and past and the flavor was good, but if i stay at the hotel again i will have dinner outside the hotel. The bedroom offered tea, coffee and water bottles and a courtesy. The breakfast buffet had a pretty good variety of fruits, yogurts, juices and nice and fresh breads. It did have a espresso machine and some sweets and cheeses. Considering pandemic measures i thought the hotel is being really careful living windows and doors open, and at the hotel restaurant the tables have enough room between them. I would say it’s a 9 out of 10.

Excellent
Amazing place. There isn't anything negative to say about this property. Rooms are spacious, comfortable bed and pillows. Great breakfast. I visited back in July so the weather was just perfect. There was delicious soup buffet. Professional, courteous and friendly. Good location. Mr Francis really makes your stay welcoming. He's very friendly, helps you with directions, places to visit, ea. Everyday he makes sure to acknowledge the customers, have a little chat. Definitely recommend this hotel for leisure or business.
JJohnnyM2596I’ll jump right into it: the five has some nice attributes. But the finishing touches that should be there for an expensive business hotel are absent. First, no signs when you enter the lobby to check in upstairs. No help or anything written in English. Check in is up an escalator and around a corner (hidden from downstairs view). Next, thin walls and minimal soundproofing to the loud street outside (I was on the 8th floor). General cheap furnishings (chairs, towels). The usb plugs looked like they would last another 1-2 weeks max (they pulled out of the wall when jiggled). Check in took forever as did check out. Both could have been helped with better training for staff. I assume that the person helping was a trainee, but service was slow and awkward. Spa is cold and unfriendly. Loud renovations taking place next door, mixed with sounds from the gym. Cheap walls. Lastly, my biggest pet peeve about traveling, the atm in the lobby wanted to charge 10% of my withdrawal as a fee. This came to over $60 as I was drawing a lot of money - unacceptable, and the atm was designed specifically to be confusing. So I ended up walking in the rain 500m to a banco 24 horas. Brazil seems to be not an easy or cheap place to withdrawal cash, but at least the 24 horas was reasonable. Here’s the problem: A corporate company (probably foreign) looking to maximize profit and cut corners. I know the feeling all too well from lame chain hotels in the states. Best avoided.
AAlessandro WenglarekExceptional. Great hotel. Whoever claims here, claims for little or wants luxury hotel for a lower price. All in the hotel is wonderful, clean and spacious room. The facilities are new, with excess to the carpet day corridors. Breakfast very good.
AAndreia LHotel em ótima localização, organização e limpeza perfeita, ótima qualidade de café da manhã, com certeza vou voltar e indicar aos meus amigos e familiares, acesso fácil aos pontos turísticos e uber. Simplesmente adorei a estadia. Parabéns
GGuest UserThe hotel was perfect, especially from Caio, the most educated, performing, friendly, efficient receptionist I've ever known. All hotel structure is excellent and breakfast is delicious, quite varied.
GGuest UserThe hotel is very well located. Beside the sofisticated shopping batel. It has classic decoration and gentle staff. The superior apartment is very wide but “vacuum”. Follow a sofa or a chair. It is a huge and comfortable bed. The bathroom and box are a little shameful for the pattern of the apartment or hotel in yes. Small, complicated, even to connect the water before you enter the box. Unacceptable. The pattern and variety of breakfast also left unwanted. He doesn't deserve the name “Trans-American”.
GGuest UserIncredible, wonderful hotel, wonderful coffee, wonderful room, the best hotel our family has hosted in Curitiba, it's worth it, when we come back we know where to stay.
very clean, comfortable bed and pillows, front desk helpful, breakfast average, good location, great price/quality. ask for a high floor for the view, bathroom small but functional and clean , tv could have more English channels
