I stayed at this hotel twice; in between I went to Macchu Pichu and left the baggage at the hotel. Location wise - it’s very central with a PeruRail office next door albeit the other ones are not too far. Reception is 24hr and there is a nice courtyard with a restaurant as well as a common area with a kitchen at the back. I stayed in the Teepee tent on both occasions; first time the rate was more affordable at around gbp40/night. In July, the night gets cold. But the tent does have additional blankets and a heater. This worked except on the last night as it seems it stopped in middle of the night. Without the heater, the room was quite cold. The common bathroom is at the back; the showers are ok and you get enough privacy. I noticed the hot water does take a while to come through. I left the baggage in the storage - no issues. Overall good but for same price bracket I would try somewhere else.

When I'm traveling in South America, I use the Selina Group's accommodations if they're nearby. I use a dormitory, but the room is clean and the guests are used to dormitories, so it's easy to stay. In addition, the front desk will make reservations for local tours and taxis, so you can travel easily. This time as well, when I arrived early in the morning and had nothing to do, Franklin, who worked the night shift, immediately set up a tour for me, so I was able to spend a fulfilling day. thank you.

Very clean and beautiful hostel. Located in the very center. The rooms are cozy and clean. There are a lot of dishes in the kitchen. There is a coworking space, a library, and a cinema on site. Activities according to the program. One of my favorite Celines I've stayed at.

We had a great stay at Selina when me and my husband stayed in Cusco. The staff was super helpful and friendly, the food was very good and the rooms was cleand and big. We had a 1 night stay in Aguas Calientes for Machu Picchu, and we stored our luggage at Selina without a problem. The breakfast was also very good, and if you leave early you get a lunsjbag. The wifi was also good, and the hostel is very central in Cusco. Everything "important" is close by.

My husband and I chose Selina Plaza de Armas for two nights of our Peru trip last month and it was a win on many levels. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly kind, informative, and accommodating. The location is great - near lots of incredible restaurants and coffee shops. (The bottom floor had its own restaurant with great food as well, perfect for a quick breakfast or late night snack.) The price was extremely affordable for the quality of stay. Our room was clean, warm, and we very much enjoyed the hot showers after two days of hiking and exploring. We were able to laundry half way through and they took care of our clothing with care. We even had a few items that had very specific cleaning instructions and the service they use handled it well. In addition to providing directions and advice on things to do in Cusco, this hotel also works with a tour agency that can get you to Rainbow Mountain, Moray, and more. We ended up doing the 7 lakes of Ausangate which was incredible. We would like to thank Frank especially for being such a kind friend and wonderful source of information for us. Thanks for making this experience great! We'll be back!

This hostel was very clean and comfortable. The staff was great and the night staff was awesome. Franklin Huaman was very nice and helpful and keep the place very clean. Thanks Frank! The only thing was it is expensive.

The website pictures are misleading and look much nicer than it is - the room images are bright and look very hotel-like, but my room was a lot darker. It’s much more of a hostel. For 100 USD a night (without breakfast) it’s a lot, especially for a hostel. I had an early start for Machu Picchu (as I expect most guests do staying here) and yet there were some very loud banging and renovation works on my floor until 9pm and then I didn’t get to sleep until 1am due to other loud clearing up noises downstairs plus loud talking. I messaged reception at this time and they said they were asking them to quieten down. I’d booked to come back here a couple of days after my hike - if I hadn’t pre paid I would’ve definitely gone somewhere else. That said, the second time was better as I asked to stay somewhere quieter. On a more positive note, friendly reception and appreciated being able to store my luggage, helpful that the airport transfer could be arranged and great location.

We had a fine stay at Selina where the atmosphere is really cosy, and the location is excellent. We needed to upgrade from their tipis to proper rooms for various reasons, but the process was smooth and the rooms were nice. It's a bit noisy - more than a bit in the afternoon, but all the facilities were fine. The staff are friendly and welcoming.

After having 15h bus ride from La Paz, check in with Frank at reception was very smooth and present. He gave me all the info & recommendations we wanted to have and arranged them promptly. All the facilities is very clean and it was very nice to have staff who can speak English perfect that made me very comfortable. I would recommend this place to stay and would love to going back to stay again. Thank you Frank!

I'm excited to say that the service at Selina was wonderful, the rooms, restaurant and spa make me feel like Home. Jeffry, my friend, did a great job with his kindness and valuable help when I was sick because of the Soroche. Thank you all the staff. See you soon.

The accommodations are clean as expected. They advertise fast internet. The internet speeds are 1.5 - 10 mps down because they have so many people using it. Not acceptable for a provider who has a cowork. I was unable to conduct my business while traveling and therefore it gets a bad score.

We stayed here a few days and, we hated it! The pros, it was very close to the city center with lots to do in that area and places to eat. The cons, we arrived and immediately noticed it wasn’t you basic hotel. It’s more of a hostel and hotel mixture. Yes they have rooms with their own bathroom, how we stayed, but they also have the hotel experience. The downside, we felt the hostel aspect of the hotel destroyed the quiet hotel experience. The common area was used by people to watch sports on the tv, play games, listen to music, work on computers, chat, eat, and lay down. This created noise underneath our window all night long until about 1am daily! We initially planned to come back to this hotel after a few days hiking. We decided to cancel the return stay and the hotel refused to refund the days we canceled 4 days in advance. This was one of the worst hotel stays we’ve ever had.

We had a lovely time a Selinas! Room, breakfast and staff was great. We could definitely see ourselves come back to Selinas if we return to Cusco. When we did the Inca Trail we were also able to store our luggage at Selinas, which was really appreciated.
