We stayed 1 night here after hiking the inca trail. The price was very reasonable and we were able to get private bathrooms which was a huge plus. The wifi didn’t work well in the room, the door to our room didn’t lock, and the breakfast was 1 egg and a bun (with butter and jam). For the price it was nice, especially after roughing it for a few days. The beds were very comfy, the blankets were nice and thick, and they gave us fresh towels to shower with.

The hostel is very homely. The showers are the perfect temperature. And the staff are one of the kindest I have met in my trip. I stayed almost a week, and they even securely held my bags when I went away to multiple treks including Machu Picchu.

A very welcoming hostel, felt right at home straight away. All of the staff were so lovely and went as far as booking tours for us the day before they started! We left for our 5 day trek and came back! We kept adding days. Would 100% recommend to anyone coming to Cusco.

Hostel con ambiente muy tranquilo, te sentís como en casa. No es un party hostel, sin embargo pude socializar con varias personas en mis 5 días. Pros. 1) tu habitación tiene llaves, te dan otras llaves para la entrada y para un locker grande. 2) La limpieza es muy buena, incluso en la habitación pasan a limpiar y hacerte la cama. 3) Tiene cocina muy generosa y heladeras para que puedas preparar tu comida. 4) tiene desayuno que está muy bien y el horario es muy flexible. 5) tiene lavandería en el mismo hostal 6) el wifi anda muy bien ya que tiene 5 redes. Contras La única contra que la encuento es que está a 10 minutos caminando de la plaza centro histórico pero no es grave.

Our stay at Hospedaje Turistico Recoleta, was great. The hostel was clean and nice, and the people working there were very friendly and helpful. It is located very close to the main square, in walking distance. It is very clean, and they have a great social room, where you can watch movies, play tabletennis and more. Will definetily stay there if I ever come back to Cusco.

Mein Bruder und ich waren insgesamt etwa 10 Tage im Hostel Recoleta und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Hotel ist sehr ruhig, sauber und familiär und liegt ideal, um diverse Ausflüge in die Stadt oder die Natur zu unternehmen. Auch lassen sich viele Aktivitäten unkompliziert direkt im Hostel buchen. Javier und Marcelo (Vater und Sohn der Eigentümerfamilie) waren immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, so war uns Marcelo auch eine grosse Unterstützung, als wir eines unsere Mobiltelefone verloren hatten. Wir werden sowohl das Hostel als auch die Besitzer in sehr guter Erinnerung behalten.

El hostal cuenta cuenta con todo lo que un viajero necesita. Buena ubicación, buenos precios, un sector tranquilo y local, cerca de las estaciones de bus importantes y con una atención de primera por parte del personal. Muy recomendado! The hostel has everything a traveler needs. Good location, good prices, a quiet and local sector, close to the important bus stations and with first-class attention from the staff. Highly recommended!
