Very close to the scenic area, the service is very good, there is a question and answer, the wifi speed is also ok, the room has heating, very new, the lighting effect is very good, there is a free pick-up, there is a travel agent to facilitate a day trip, but the price is more expensive than the outside point. Breakfast is not too bad, the drink fruit is very rich. However, it is very strange that the price of Ctrip has changed. I decided to place more than 800 orders on the first night. The payment will not move. After half a day, I found that the price has become more than 900, so I changed it to more than 900. pay. Stayed for one night and wanted to continue, the Ctrip price became 1400, and then 1600. Later, I continued to stay at the front desk for the first night of Ctrip. In the next few days, Ctrip is still in this situation. It has changed and the hotel has been giving me a fixed price. I don't understand why Ctrip is doing this at this hotel.

Cusco, Peru was the first leg of our first trip to South America and the Palacio del Inka hotel/spa made our first week so memorable. Months in advance prior to our arrival, Emerson and his fellow colleagues on the concierge team worked with us to select tours/excursions (through their travel agency partner Venturia) that were right in line with what we were looking for. Upon arrival, the hotel’s check-in process was both efficient and welcoming and everyone on the staff (including the GM) came out to greet us. The bar and restaurant staff learned and used our first names all week and that really made us feel at home. Plus, the food and cocktails were both top notch! The bartender also gave a terrific pisco sour making lesson while we were there. Make sure you ask about that activity! The hotel is beautiful and this property has one of the best Luxury Collection hotel spas that I’ve ever been to (a great variety of treatments and water therapy stations). The former mansion that this hotel now resides in also has a rich cultural history and a wonderful collection of artwork so please take their property tour while you are there…you’ll be glad you did. Overall, I want to say that every aspect of the Palacio del Inka experience was absolutely amazing and we highly recommend it for your stay in Cusco.

The hotel is located in the heart of Cusco near the shops and restaurants. The place has a clean and modern look. The customer service is good and helpful for travellers. The room was good and average-sized. The floors tend to be tiled and with the room being cold it made it uncomfortable. A use of carpeting or a rug would have been most helpful. The soundproofing is poor and the traffic outside feels like it is inside. This leads to poor sleeping with the sounds of the usual noisy Peruvian traffic. It is advised to bring earplugs, but even they may not help. The bathroom is good providing toiletries and a much-needed hot shower. There is a radiator in the room, but it only turns on from 6 pm till morning. It is a shame that the warmth and sleeping atmosphere of the room is poor as everything else is fine. Hopefully, a refurbishment of the hotel can improve these issues.

The best hotel experience for me in all of my travel. The saying you get what you paid for is so accurate. Yes, it’s pricey to stay here but boy is it worth it. This hotel is truly a paradise and oasis for your long day of traveling and hiking. First the hotel is beautiful and centrally located. There are so many activities and amenities that the guests can participate in the hotel. We did the hotel tour and interacted with the baby alpaca. Second, the room and the amenities provided in the room were so carefully throughout. The food during breakfast was great and there were varieties. But what truly make this hotel stand out for me is the staff. From the bellboy, to the front desks and the servers.. all the staff treated all the guests with care. We had an issue with our pickup at the train station (no fault of the hotel or us) but they were very apologetically about it and the staff wanted to make sure we were ok which we were. All in all., if you have the money to spend.. stay here. It was such an amazing two nights experience for my husband and I,

The hotel is less than 100 meters from the Plaza de Armas, and you can walk to the main attractions in the old city. The room facilities are relatively new and the decoration style is similar to that in China. The bathroom is clean and tidy, and the wash basin and shower room have hot water 24 hours a day. The lobby downstairs is not big, but it is comfortably furnished and the breakfast is good. All in all, everything is good, but the price is a bit expensive.
Monasterio - A Belmond Hotel - is centrally located in Cusco - a two block walk from the Plaza de Armas - Cuscos central square where the cathedral and most important museums are located. The hotels central location provides an ideal base from which to discover Cusco and the ancient ruins of Sacsayhuaman - Pisac and several other archaeological sites in the Sacred Valley. Machu Picchu can be reached via a spectacular three-hour train journey from Cusco.
.
Part of the magic is that from the outside - the whitewashed stone walls of Monasterio give little hint as to the splendid interiors within. But step inside the hotels cool - quiet confines and you will see graceful stone arches - cobblestones and original oil paintings. Stroll a little further and you will come to our cloistered courtyard complete with lush - scented gardens and a fountain. Its here you will find a 300 year-old cedar tree - a testament to the living history of this special place. Guests have remarked that spending evenings in the courtyard under starry skies makes them feel like they have been transported into a lyrical novel.
.
It is blissfully tranquil here/ and there is no need to worry about Cuscos altitude. Besides the muna tea you will be welcomed with - you can request a room with oxygen-enriched air. Our butler will even draw you a bath - for some well-earned relaxation after exploring the city. Whats so heart-warming about Monasterio is its personal touches. Oil paintings adorn the walls of our bedrooms - and the hotel as a whole houses one of Cuscos finest collections of 18th/century colonial religious art.

Awesome experience! The overall daylighting of the hotel is very good, people will feel bright as soon as they enter the hotel!
All the details are also in place, including toiletries, bedding, catering, and the environment are great!
And we must praise Ctrip! The price of this hotel on Booking is much higher than Ctrip. We stayed for two nights, and the tax-included price on the booking went to more than 7,000. However, the price of Ctrip was more than 5,000 for two nights, and the Ctrip system also reminded that if you book one day and one day separately, the price can be more favorable. Finally, we booked two nights with more than 4,000 tax-included price.
Palacio Nazarenas - A Belmond Hotel - Cusco is located in a privileged area surrounded by museums - restaurants and galleries. This is an amazing hotel. Somehow the rooms, the spaces in the hotel, the pool, the courtyards, the restaurant, all look better in real life than in pictures. The property is very special. When you arrive they tell you a little about the history of the property (going back to Pre-Inca times, apparently), and introduce you to the amenities and services—this experience alone will make you feel that you are staying in a special place. BTW, they pump oxygen into guest rooms via HVAC, so you ease into the high altitude of Cusco. The amenities are exactly what you would expect from a hotel at this price point: unlimited bottled water, mini-bar that has complimentary snacks and drinks (including alcoholic), beautiful pool, deferential front desk staff who are eager to help and efficient at completing your requests, fantastic breakfast, and much more. But where the hotel really excels is service. They really go above and beyond what you would expect. Saul, a gentleman at the front desk who checked us in and gave us that introductory hotel history tour, ended up being our main concierge/server for our entire stay: he made himself available to us at any time of day and night to assist us with reservations, with room service, general advice—he made us feel comfortable and welcome which goes beyond just professional responsibility. Similarly, Omar, another gentleman at the front desk, was super-efficient at booking a tour guide for Machu Picchu and all his recommendations for places to see in the city proved to be excellent. A couple of stories that demonstrate the quality of service here. One morning one of the handles in the shower came off when I applied too much pressure and chipped a little bit when it fell to the floor. I put it back on because I was still using the shower and completely forgot to tell anyone in housekeeping or front desk what had happened. By the time we got back to our room, housekeeping had already noticed that small chip and had the handle replaced. Impressive attention to detail. The second story is when my husband lost his phone and we started panicking because we had to leave to go to the train station to catch a train to Machu Picchu, which, of course, we couldn’t miss. Even though it was a tense moment for us and and we lost our cool, the waiters at the restaurant and housekeeping kept their cool and sprang into action, helping us find the phone and ensuring we make it to the train station on time. Big kudos to everyone at Palacio Nazarenas. Phenomenal place and phenomenal people!

I was really hoping to leave this hotel a good review because I had higher expectations especially being that this is listed as a 4 star hotel but overall, I was left disappointed. My main disappointment and disgust comes from the fact that my husband and I got some weird body rashes after staying at this hotel which we had to seek medical attention for when we got back home. First let me start with the pros, Good location. For the most part staff was very nice, helpful, attentive and accommodating. Breakfast was included with our stay which was good and if you have an early morning tour, you can let the front desk know, and they’ll pack you a little snack bag to go. The hotel provided filtered water, and a welcome snack box of chocolates in our room which was nice. They also provided coca tea and leaves in the hotel and I even saw oxygen tanks for those who may need it that might be suffering from the altitude sickness. We enjoyed the pisco sour and ceviche making class (both were delicious) and we ordered a few drinks from the bar which were also good. We also enjoyed looking at Kiki, the alpaca. We had dinner our first night at the hotel which was ok. Now to the cons, for the time that we were there (early October) there is a water shortage going on in Cusco so the hotel informed us that we could not use any water from 11pm - 3am (not a big deal for us) but a few times during our stay outside of these hours they indicated when we tried to take a shower at night (around 8-9pm) before bed the water wasn’t running. Also, be aware that you can hear everything from the rooms, it is not insulated. Not sure if this is the case for most hotels in Cusco but something to note if you are a very light sleeper. We could hear every sound, from people’s conversation, arguments, dogs barking outside, everyone that was passing by and every footsteps past our room while we were asleep at all random hours of the night into the morning. Now to the MAJOR con that was the MAIN reason this review only 2 stars, after the first night or two when I was sleeping in the bed, the back of my left leg was itching me and my husband noticed some sort of weird rash on his finger. Shortly, after when we got home, we noticed a few more rashes on our bodies (all of which looked like exactly the same rash that happened on the back of my left leg that was itching me after sleeping in the bed). My husband got triple the amount of rashes then I did, so concerned we went to a Doctor not knowing what these weird rashes could be from and the doctor informed us that this was a rash that was likely caused by the sheets we were sleeping on and had to prescribe an ointment and pill for us to take so it could go away but told us to stay on top of it to make sure it doesn’t get worse otherwise we’ll have to go back to seek further treatment (hopefully that isn’t the case). To end the review, overall the cons outweigh the pros. I can’t say I would not stay at this hotel ever again or re

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Cusco for 4 nights total - 3 before our Inca Trail trek with Alpaca Expeditions and 1 night after the trek. We arranged with HGI to store our large luggage while we were gone for the 5 day/4 night trek. Very simple process to do this and all our belongings were kept safe and sound and returned to us in good order. Overall the HGI was a good place to stay. It is is about a 15 minute walk from the Plaza de Armas, uphill all the way. We didn't mind so much since that helped get us ready for our trek. It's in a quiet area. The Plaza is quite busy and noisy, and was especially the night a political rally was being held. I was glad our hotel was not right on the plaza that night. Rooms were a nice size. Our first room was a king-size bed with a view of Cusco. The second room had a view of the courtyard. Both had hot showers, room safe, blow-dryer, and toiletries. One thing to note is that the hotel floors are reversed from the norm. You enter the lobby at street level and then go DOWN to floors 1,2,3, and 4. Ask for a room on Floor 2 or below. Floor 1 is right underneath the lobby and we were kept awake by the sounds of walking, chairs scraping, etc. until quite late at night after we returned for one night after the trek. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and offered quite a variety of choices. The main reason we give this HGI only 4 stars is for the laundry issue. After a week in Peru, we needed to do laundry when we arrived at HGI. Yes, there are laundry facilities in the hotel. However, you can't just put in a few soles, add your own soap, and wash a load. Noooo, they have it fixed so that you MUST purchase a packet of tokens, detergent, and softener from them for a whopping 52 soles!! That's outrageous and taking advantage of a ”captive audience.” Well, not these guests. We simply bagged up our laundry and dropped it off at one of the dozens of laundry shops on the street right around the corner. It cost us 36 soles AND we supported a local, family-run business. Win-win. And boo on HGI for boasting about laundry facilities they actually charge an arm and a leg to use.

Incredible, absolutely wonderful experience. Words cannot express my gratitude towards Giara,Walter and all the wonderful stop at Katharine Apt Hotel for taking such good care of me. First of all the location is very close to the airport, a nine dollar taxi ride. It is perfectly located on the main street close to everything at walking distance. Major grocery stores 11 minutes away main Plaza 10 minutes away, walking, Mercado San Pedro 15 min walking. My check in experience was a breeze. I just notified the business right next door, Peru, rail office who got Giara who is a sweet, adorable person. Right away I knew I was in good hands. She showed me my apartment which was apartment number nine. I had two beds and they were so clean. Pillows and sheets smelled impeccably clean. The place was beautiful. I had a kitchenette with a microwave and stove top. I had limited kitchen equipment, but I asked Giara to provide me with more things and she was helpful. I had piping hot water, toilet paper, and even a wonderful kettle to boil my tea. They provide you with a breakfast menu and every morning I texted her on WhatsApp to tell her what I wanted for breakfast. They had good options. It was so nice to have someone make breakfast for you. She was so sweet what really impressed me however, was for the first day I arrived in Peru I had a severe case of altitude sickness. It was so bad I seriously thought I was gonna die. I wasn’t able to walk get up or do anything so Giara called the doctor to come and visit me. Her partner Walter went to the drugstore and got me an oxygen tank and some altitude sickness pills. The doctors visit and the pills cost me $70. The doctor also gave me pills included in all this price incredible within two days I was all better and able to go to Machu Picchu. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without them because I am a solo traveler. There is nothing more scary than getting sick when you’re in a foreign country thank you Giara, Walter, and all the staff at Katharine apt hotel. I will be back, and I will always stay here. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Cusco. The price is incredible, the staff go above and beyond for you, and if it rains, they even provide umbrellas! What more can you ask for? I am so grateful I stayed here. ❤️
GGimenezPabloThis hotel is centrally located within walking distance to the markets & main plaza. The beds are comfortable. Rooms with king bed are small. The courtyard is nice. The breakfast was average to below average. The internet is free but intermittent at best. There is a nightclub nearby which plays loud music until 3:30am which makes it really difficult to sleep.
The reason I'm giving this hotel a 3 star is because of the excellent service we received from Oscar Silva Casafranca. He was courteous, efficient and always pleasant & smiling. He helped with our baggage & was quick to answer any questions or queries we had. He's a huge asset to this hotel.
GGuest UserI stayed here with a friend for a couple of nights at the beginning of June and can’t recommend enough. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Clean and modern we really enjoyed the room and the facilities of the hotel. Thank you so much. Can’t wait to return
GGuest UserWe had a fabulous 3 night stay in the Místico San Blas Boutique Hotel. All of the staff (Leslie, Laura, Marjorie and Mari) were super friendly, attentive and accommodating. When we first arrived my wife was really struggling with the altitude and Leslie sprung into action (completely unprompted) bringing coca leaf tea, and some type of rose oil to her right away, saving the day. Leslie went above and beyond in assisting us ! The location of the hotel is hard to beat, right in the heart of the historic San Blas neighborhood. We ate breakfast at the hotel, made to order by Mari and it was delicious!! We would highly recommend anyone staying in Cusco, to stay at the Místico San Blas Boutique Hotel !
Wwildman/This hotel is located two minutes away from Cusco Square. There are many restaurants, souvenir shops and money changers nearby. The hostel takes a diversified route to suit different people. There are many different rooms for you to choose from. There are movie screening rooms, public kitchens and yoga classes for you to choose to participate in. The staff is attentive and friendly, and will introduce you to the attractions and famous restaurants in the area. The one he introduced to me is really good.
The furnishings in the room are practical and simple, with ethnic style. The bathroom is clean and spacious, the view from the 4th floor window is open, and the air in the room is fresh and fresh. The breakfast is rich and delicious, and the overall cost-effectiveness exceeds expectations...
This was a good location for Cusco - only a short walk downhill to the centre of Cusco and all it has to offer. We missed our flight and arrived really late so they organised a driver to pick us up from the airport and take us straight to the train station so we could continue onto Machu Picchu. They minded our luggage until we returned and organised for the driver to pick us up from the train. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They even advised what price we should pay for the taxi. The hotel was very clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. The breakfast was included with a good selection of food including eggs. Tea and coffee was available free of charge at any time. Genuinely nice and helpful people. It is a small hotel with no lift but our bags were carried up and down the stairs without asking.
AAdam NieuwenhoutThe room was everything you need for a hotel. The staff were super friendly and always wanted to make your stay great. Although the hotel is not close to the main tourist plaza, it is close to a great shopping ***** and the neighbourhood is nice. I would stay here again.
GGuest UserAmazing hosts, they kind, friendly and helpful! Hotel located in the beautiful place close to our geological sites, not far from a city centre. Rooms are very nice and clean. Coca leaves and coca leaves are offered to help with altitude. Hotel provides very delicious breakfast and snacks if you are leaving hotel early in the morning for excursions.
If we’re back to Cusco we definitely want to book this place again!
We highly recommend this beautiful hotel!
GGuest UserThe very characteristic Peru hotel is located in the center of Cusco, with convenient transportation, within walking distance to the central square, and convenient pick-up and drop-off. The decoration style of the hotel is very popular. The room includes breakfast. Breakfast is available very early, and it is richer. Service The staff are very enthusiastic and can store the boxes after leaving the store
