Kurze Auszeit im ”Das Donners” .. mit Saunabesuch usw, auch im Winter hat die Lage/Landschaft usw. ihren eigenen Charme. Aus dem Restaurant kann man wunderbar über das Meer schauen, sich die Fracht und auch Kreuzfahrtschiffe anschauen, die aus oder nach Hamburg fahren. Ist das Wetter nicht ganz so schön, kann man im Wellness Bereich entspannen, in einer der Saunen (Finnische, Salz, Dampf oder Bio Sauna) oder im Pool. Die Flat TV auf den Zimmern haben eine vernünftige Größe, sodass man bequem vom Bett aus TV schauen kann. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr reichhaltig und vielfältig, es wird immer nachgelegt. Das 3 & 4-Gänge-Menü am Abend, war auch sehr gut. Das Bad ist groß und praktisch angelegt, ganz kleiner Punkt, es gab doch die ein oder andere Staubecke im Zimmer (Staub/Spinnweben in an den Decken-Ecken) oder auch den Lampen. Aber insgesamt, war das Zimmer sowie die anderen Bereiche des Hotels, alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Und wer einen Trolley oder Koffer mit Rollen hat und hinter dem Hotel parkt, sollte diesen aufgrund der doch sehr unebenen und mit Löchern über sehnenden Oberfläche, lieber tragen. Wir kommen auch gern ein 3. mal wieder.

We chose the Moin! Hotel for a short trip to Cuxhaven. We were absolutely happy with our choice, it was wonderful. Our room was small, but cozy and in perfect condition. The hotel is very well located, in a few minutes you can walk to the dike or the sea. I would also like to praise the friendly staff - whether at reception, at breakfast or the service staff on the floor: everyone is nice, helpful and has a few kind words for the guests. This makes you feel comfortable and welcome. A special highlight: the lovingly laid birthday table for my wife and the warm welcome in the morning - this showed that at the Moin! Hotel ”hospitality” is not just a phrase in the hotel brochure, but is lived. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay :-)

Quick check-in. Very friendly and competent service staff. The room and bathroom were clean and maintained. Confortable beds and rich breakfast in a pleasant atmosphere. A small bar service including pizza is offered in the evening.

Stayed here for an overnight before ferry to Helgoland. Booked two rooms for family of 5. Staff accommodated us well with neighboring rooms. At least three other parties (I think each of two people) were staying there that night. It's an older building, and could certainly hear people through wall. But that's pretty much true anywhere. Price was reasonable, but no bargain. Nothing wrong with that though. Breakfast was good, and plentiful. Rolls, jam, cheese, meat, coffee, juice. Well located between train station and ferry. Not a long walk to either. Quiet street. Bed was comfortable, and bathroom in good shape. One of our rooms had a balcony. No particular view, but it's nice to know you can go outside if you want. Staff was friendly and able to communicate in English.

Pura Vida is a very well located hotel right behind the deck. The concept is fresh and young in contrast to the older hotels on the site. The establishment of the rooms and public areas takes the concept and is very modern. The hotel has a large parking space. In view of the orientation of the hotel, a load pillar for electric cars would be desirable for the future. There is a fitness area that is free of charge. Also the sauna and steam sauna area is free and super beautiful. We had the luck to have the SPA almost always all for us alone. Breakfast is rich and healthy. Coffee and tea can be obtained free in the dining room until 18:00. The Wifi is very good throughout the hotel area. The rooms are very large and you have a floor heating in the bathroom. We agree with the previous reviews in that the cleanness of the rooms is likely to be worked a little more intensively. Here is air up. The care products that are available in the room or in the Spa are very high quality. There are very good and many restaurants around.
