Check in is 2pm, not 10am as stated on the trip.com itinerary. Why did they ask to see my reservation after I gave them my passport? Is there no database linking that information? It seems that my room was not renovated in 2023 as claimed on trip.com...it felt more like a 2016 room. Whilst the room was clean, the shower pressure was lacking and temperature was difficult to get right. There was a drainage smell coming from the drain. Breakfast was ok but not like the photos 😏 The dining room chair cushions could do with a clean. The gym is good and the pool looks great although I didn't swim. The staff were helpful and friendly.

We only stayed 2 nights unfortunately in this lovely hotel. It was a last minute booking as the hotel we had booked wasn’t up to scratch. They upgraded us and were so pleasant. The room was magnificent and the amenities fantastic. Would recommend the Royal Lotus to everyone. 😁

The furniture in the room is already shabby. They moved our beds together, I moved the nightstand closer to the bed. There is trash and hair on the floor. There was cleaning, but the garbage was still there. At the baseboard. Food for 4. I always travel for my birthday. There was always a compliment from the hotel. Fruit, cake. Nothing here. Overall, the hotel is a 3- for me.. I definitely won’t come back here and won’t recommend it. For this price there are much better hotels in Da Nang.

The room is clean and tidy. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is rich. The infinity pool is great. The most reliable hotel in Vietnam for 5 days. The most satisfying one. Really worth recommending.

The hotel facilities are comparable to those of large Korean motels. Did a four-night stay at the Royal Lotus Da Nang. I'd consider it a three-star hotel by western standards. My room didn't have any obvious standout qualities, but also no major faults...it's a serviceable hotel. Positives: - walking distance to the beach - decently priced within the region, and inexpensive compared to equivalent hotels in more developed Asian countries - covers all basic amenities, including a decent continental breakfast - friendly concierge - comfortable beds (relative to my hardness preference) Negatives: - thin walls. You'll definitely hear people talking or watching television in the room next to you - tiny bathrooms that are hard to move around in, even for skinny people. The shower is very narrow and not suitable for anyone over 6 feet tall. - the rooms are clean (e.g. sheets, bathroom, etc.), but they have a lot of wear and are in need of a renovation
