This hotel is located in the efficiency area, it is convenient to have a car, and you have to pay a parking fee for staying at the hotel, 5 euros a day. Next to the gas station, there is a McDonald's. We arrived at the hotel in the evening, and the next morning, when we set off, we filled the oil. We were about 40 kilometers from the hotel to Munich Airport. We didn't expect that the 40-kilometer was a small grid (about one-tenth) less. We didn't notice it on the road. I found out when I returned the car, and later the car rental company deducted 25 euros in my credit card. If I go to add it myself, it will be 5 euros at most. Friends who rent a car, please pay attention.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the A&O Laim and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! This charming hotel exceeded my expectations in every possible way, making my trip to Munich truly memorable. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the warm and friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I was delighted to find my room to be clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The modern decor and cozy ambiance instantly put me at ease, providing the perfect retreat after a long day of exploring the city. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast buffet offered by the hotel. With a wide variety of options ranging from fresh fruits and pastries to hearty eggs and breads, there was something to satisfy every palate. The dining area was spacious and well-maintained, and the attentive staff ensured that I had everything I needed to start my day on a high note. Lastly, I cannot praise the staff enough for their exceptional service. We had a fabulous time visiting this I believe newly opened hotel! As the lounge is only opening later this month we have received alternative offerings in the bar which were delicious. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Looking forward to come back once the lounge has opened!

Hotel is small, comfortable, clean and totally new renovated. Online check in with door code (instead of key card or regular keys) is a big plus. Check out process super easy. Just close the door. Perfect. View on neighborhood buliding (some sort of lubricate manufacturer) could be better. Please keep in mind. Hotel rooms don't have air condition. Windows can be opened but due to the fact that you only have only window there will be no fresh breaze coming in. During a hot day our room was quite warm and we were not able to cool it down. Overall perfect place to stay for a night or two. Will come back.

We stayed here during Oktoberfest and the hotel was full but the only time you would notice was at breakfast. Big kudos to the staff who kept the breakfast area stocked and clean, they deserve a bonus because it was super busy. Breakfast was way better quality than what we get in the U.S. Our room was on the second floor and our view was the train yard. The windows are very good at keeping out the city noise and the hotel is designed well to reduce noise from other patrons. Room was clean except for some stains on the sofa upholstery and desk chair. Not sure why hotels used upholstered furniture that is tough to clean. Shower was good, plenty of hot water. Towels were too thin, they cheaped out on the towels. Location is good. Metro, tram and bus are very close by. Stephanie at the front desk was very helpful at checkout.

An un-planned two-night stay here, necessitated by the temporary failure of Lufthansa, was a pleasant experience as the hotel offered a large and comfortable room with great heating and good (if older) ensuite amenities. It doesn't look like 'posh' hotel, but it was comfortable and the location is great for the Hbf rail station -and for one of the nightlife areas. It isn't a long walk from the old town either. The staff were friendly and helpful and the price was reasonable.

This is conveniently located on the Garching campus, so has just become my hotel of choice when visiting one of the research institute here. The rooms have a small kitchenette, which I like. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was of reasonable quality, although exactly the same very day. Note that for short stays the kitchens are by default not equipped, but you can request this for a small extra fee. The only negative point is that there are very few facilities in the area. The only restaurant open in the evening is in the next door Marriot, but it is very poor. There are no food shops, so you need to travel to Garching to buy supplies: but that is only one stop on the U-Bahn, so quite quick.

We spent here two nights because of a snow storm and all the flights from München were cancelled. We arrived from Oman and should travel immediately to Amsterdam, but our flight was cancelled due to the snow. We immediately booked this hotel. The staff was very friendly and try to help as many people as possible. They really worked over hours and the whole lobby was full of stranded travelers. I have great respect for how they did all this while being still very friendly and attentive. So great respect for the staff and they really helped us out. Hotel is quite basic and the breakfast buffet is great and there’s an enormous variety to choose from.

Great hotel. Incredibly friendly staff who have their hearts in the right place. I have rarely felt so comfortable. The rooms are a good size and very modern. The only thing I was missing was a minibar. Great beds. Free breakfast and a good selection. Everything was perfect.

It’s very good, but enough issues to knock a star off. Lots of good things - very clean, modern room. Great shower. Good lighting. Comfortable bed. Fabulous breakfast, with omelettes to order. Every sort of milk you could imagine (though except, oddly, we couldn’t find fresh - the one we thought was it was UHT!). Great gym on 14 floor. Internet lightning fast. The staff were friendly and gave you full attention when you were with them. Issues. Short staffed. On checkout, for example, only two staff, one of whom was on the phone … then the other could not get round an issue for a couple checking online, so had to be helped by the first. When a place is this swish, check in and out should be fast and slick. It wasn’t. Short staffed in the restaurant too: we’d booked a table but were ignored by the two staff who were covering the bar and the tables. A lot of tables and a long wait to be seated. Better training needed: at least greet and acknowledge the waiting guests. Restaurant food was ok. In the room: no access to the online hotel directory: reception didn’t really understand the problem and sent a spare remote up to us, then guessed maybe a software issue. No USB ports in the sockets, and none to loan (you could buy them apparently). (Tip: actually there there are two USB ports - on the back of the TV! They’re fiddly to reach but it can be done, and they charged a phone overnight).

Perfect clean and quiet hotel if visiting Dachau. Comfy beds and nice bathroom. Good bakery downstairs and several restaurants within walking distance. We spent four hours at Dachau touring and were physically and emotionally exhausted afterward. So grateful for this hotel and a good nights sleep!

It's about 20 minutes' drive from the center of Munich. The neighborhood is very quiet and sleeping is very comfortable.
The only drawback is that the parking lot is a bit expensive.

GGuest UserWhat you get is beds, TV, one small bottle of water. Careful with the restaurant when you get your bill, multiple people found extra charges. They also include the tip in the bill but will not say so; multiple people ended up double tipping. The hotel itself was clean and receptionist was nice, professional.

GGuest UserWe are the classical Philharmonie Bonn and we stayed here yesterday after our concert in Munich. Clean rooms, good service and a variety of breakfast. Nice staff. Thank you to Mr. Völker. We have four times a year in the Hercules Hall in Munich and would like to stay here again.

Ffrs10A very large hotel with a large parking area (gratis) in a commercial area. When you arrive there on a hot day, the first thing to do is that the air conditioning works very well. Both in the general area and in the room. My room was as a double room minimum size. A real chair has no longer been fitted in. But there was a small refrigerator in the room. The staff are all very friendly and premature. The troops were especially, very flirty and attentive at breakfast. However, I sometimes felt they were fun to stack plates as loud as possible ... ;-) Breakfast is generally good. Wi-Fi is free and is enough for emails/work. Something nervous is the Internet TV, which apparently had also problems with the flow, because the ”sand watch” was more often to watch and from time to time the device has also spontaneously turned off or rebooted. The waste shop was not empty at the arrival. Also no room was cleaned (I didn't see that it was intended).
