Maybe it's because it's been open for a long time. The room is very old. I forgot to take pictures. The wooden cabinet in the toilet is rotten. The pictures are the same as the comments! ! Here comes the point. There seems to be bullfrogs on the beach downstairs. They keep croaking. They can still be heard even when the windows are closed. But you can turn on the air conditioner, so you can only hear the sound like an old-fashioned dryer, and you can't hear the bullfrogs. There is an observation deck on the roof where you can watch the sunrise, which is very good. It's also very close to Yangnan Creek, just over 10 minutes' walk away. However, the boss is still quite nice and enthusiastic. He will send some travel guides when you enter the store, which is a good point!

The front desk service of the inn is very good. They are very responsive and helpful. There is a washing machine, dryer and ironing machine on the top floor, which is convenient to use. The sea view on the top floor is also very beautiful and suitable for taking photos. The tatami bed in the Japanese sea view room I booked is also very comfortable. The sea view room of this B&B is great. The attraction is that its terrace faces Erhai Lake.
The boss upgraded the room for free so that you can see Erhai Lake from a higher floor. The room is very spacious and I liked it immediately.
The location is in a small village, and there are mainly Yunnan specialty restaurants nearby. There are not many other options, and the number of restaurants is not particularly large. It is recommended to take out or come back when you are full~ The nearest attraction is the entrance to the ecological corridor, walk It took about 15 minutes to arrive.
The facilities are basically there (ps: there is laundry detergent 👍, projector (I think you are already a member) 👍), and breakfast is provided from 8 to 9 o'clock every day, including rice noodles, porridge, sausages, fried dough sticks, eggs, vegetables, meat buns, etc. . GGuest UserI think this is a really nice hotel and the people are very willing to help you. Breakfast is not a choice, but there is so much good food that comes on a tray. It's a walkable area but the area is incredibly expensive for China. If you're an expat, You should know some things...like 1st of all it's incredibly far from the train station about an hour and a 1/2. Secondly I don't think that the price for the queen suite is fair. I don't know what I can say but it was more expensive than a 4 mandarin grand carlton in other areas of China. While it was nice, the price doesn't reflect what you get. I'd stay here again, for sure, if I was going back to the area, but I would book one of their cheaper rooms. Service was great, but we got here (yes they tried to contact me in advance, but I don't speak much Chinese) and it was quite a puzzle in figuring how to get to the actual hotel. Luckily someone from another hotel was able to help. Once they knew we were here, they shuttled our luggage to the hotel and carried it to our rooms. The people working here are wonderful, but the area is very expensive and room prices for the queen suite are WAY more than you will get elsewhere in China.

Location: Ideally situated on the north side of old town Dali, it's conveniently accessible on foot or by electric bike. The surrounding area boasts a variety of trendy shops, yet remains far enough from the bustling streets to ensure a peaceful atmosphere.
Amenities: The room is equipped with modern amenities and cutting-edge technology, although we unfortunately couldn't fully utilize them due to our limited Chinese language skills. The rooms are immaculately clean, and the bed is incredibly soft and comfortable - I mean soft by Western standards - one of the best beds we've encountered on our trip so far.
Service: I can't praise their service enough! The husband and wife owners went above and beyond, calling us before our arrival to confirm our arrival time. During our stay, they arranged pickup and dropoff services for us, despite the crowds in old town due to the festival. They even helped carry our luggage up and down the stairs. They were kind enough to gift us fridge magnets as farewell gifts. Their helpfulness and valuable tips and recommendations made our stay truly memorable. Dali wouldn't have been the same without the homestay's owners - they deserve far more recognition!
To the owners: Thank you so much for your incredible hospitality, you made our trip so much more enjoyable!

The flowers in the yard are beautiful, and the sea view is unbeatable! I stayed here for another night and saw the sunrise, rainbow, and the full moon over Erhai Lake at night without leaving the house. It was really worth the trip! The breakfast was delicious, and it tasted even better with such a scenery! The boss and the housekeeper were very kind. They helped us contact a chartered car when we left for Lijiang! The kittens are also very cute and photogenic!

Breakfast is a traditional Chinese breakfast with noodles and various dim sum. It was refreshing coming back in the evenings to a small snack from the hotel that generally included warm milk and fresh fruit. The bed is very comfortable. The owner and staff and very kind and will help you to the best of their abilities. I would highly recommend this hotel.

What truly impressed me was their unwavering support when we encountered an unfortunate scam. The host not only provided assistance but also guided us through the process of filing a complaint, alleviating much of our stress and frustration.

RrobynwhaleyThis hotel is more like a flat, it's in a block of flats meaning cars can't pick you up from the door, you have to walk outside of the community. The view is gorgeous and the hotel will pick you up from the railway station and guide you to your room. It's on the opposite side of the lake to the attractions, which we didn't mind as it was nice and quiet and gives you a different view of the lake. The room is decorated with a lot of tacky toys, literally Teddy bears on the bed like a child's room, if they were gone it would be nicer.
