We had the pleasure of staying at Erhai Xinglai Lakeview Inn in picturesque Dali, and our experience was nothing short of magical. From the moment we booked, the staff demonstrated exceptional hospitality, calling us to arrange for complimentary pickup from the airport. Important tip: Dali's cobblestone streets can be challenging for luggage, so be sure to call the hotel in advance to arrange for their free pickup service. Upon arrival, we were treated to a delightful tea break, complete with fresh fruits and fragrant rose tea. Witnessing the chef meticulously prepare the fruit platter for 30 minutes was a testament to the hotel's attention to detail and commitment to excellence. It's clear that every aspect of our stay was crafted with love. The hotel offers thoughtful amenities, including: - Photography package for capturing memories - Nighttime milk service, delivering warm milk to your doorstep before bed - Cozy library with an impressive selection of adult fiction, non-fiction, and children's books Near the hotel, there are live singing performances in the evenings, featuring talented vocalists performing ********* and Chinese classics (we enjoyed listening from the comfort of our room!) The staff's warm hospitality, combined with the hotel's charming ambiance and thoughtful touches, made our stay in Dali truly unforgettable. We highly recommend Erhai Xinglai to anyone seeking a tranquil retreat in this beautiful town.

Quiet space. Menu with many dishes. Clean, fully equipped. The hotel is centrally located, very convenient for traveling. Especially the staff is extremely friendly and enthusiastic, I got a lot of useful information.

I think this is a really nice hotel and the people are very willing to help you. Breakfast is not a choice, but there is so much good food that comes on a tray. It's a walkable area but the area is incredibly expensive for China. If you're an expat, You should know some things...like 1st of all it's incredibly far from the train station about an hour and a 1/2. Secondly I don't think that the price for the queen suite is fair. I don't know what I can say but it was more expensive than a 4 mandarin grand carlton in other areas of China. While it was nice, the price doesn't reflect what you get. I'd stay here again, for sure, if I was going back to the area, but I would book one of their cheaper rooms. Service was great, but we got here (yes they tried to contact me in advance, but I don't speak much Chinese) and it was quite a puzzle in figuring how to get to the actual hotel. Luckily someone from another hotel was able to help. Once they knew we were here, they shuttled our luggage to the hotel and carried it to our rooms. The people working here are wonderful, but the area is very expensive and room prices for the queen suite are WAY more than you will get elsewhere in China.

The hotel was in an absolute beautiful location. I did not leave the hotel much on this short trip and I really enjoyed my stay here. Lobby and cafe area was really beautiful and the staff was really nice. Breakfast was good, and plentiful. My only issue, and it really became a non-factor, was trying to find the place. It is a little off the beaten path and taxi's will not take you to it. There is no signs at the road and if it wasn't for a really nice person working at another hotel we probably would've spent the next couple of hours walking around, with our luggage, looking for it. However, once we got them on the phone, they drove around and picked us up.

The inn staff will arrange a tricycle to pick you up at the parking lot. As soon as you enter the lobby on the first floor to check in, you can smell the fragrant coffee [coffee]. The staff are very enthusiastic and meticulous. They will share and recommend various strategies and guides with us. The Marshall speakers in the room have great sound quality. I like them very much. It was a great stay. I will definitely stay here again when I come to Dali Shuanglang next time~

The layout of the room is very comfortable. There is a comfortable reading light when you read in bed. There is a suitable lazy sofa when you sit and read. The cantilevered eaves can enjoy the warm sunshine in the afternoon. Service: The brothers and sisters are very enthusiastic and help with the luggage. The hotel's hardware and software are great. The bed is very comfortable. It is rare for a person who comes out to know the bed to sleep comfortably in their home; the breakfast mentioned in the comments is very rich, and it is indeed true after the experience. It will be changed every morning; there is a fireplace in the lobby, drink tea, and warm yourself by the fire. This is a very pleasant thing. On this trip to Dali, waking up is the most comfortable homestay I have ever stayed in.

The second time I came to Dali, I still chose to wake up. First, her location. The best angle to view the sea in Shuanglang is not the endless expanse, but the original appearance of Erhai Lake. Second, her design is still classic today, and it is still the most original appearance of Erhai B&B. What made me most comfortable this time was their service, which has improved a lot. The next day, because of the talk show in the ancient city, I returned to Shuanglang at midnight. In addition to caring about our safety all the way, the young man also waited for us in the parking lot early. There were not enough hangers in the room. I told the girl at the front desk before going out, and they were all put in the room at night. Such a B&B makes people feel safe and comfortable, which is more difficult to achieve than hardware design. Thank you Erhai Wake Up, giving me another reason to come to Dali. See you next time!

This is a hotel that amazed me and my friends. From the hardware facilities to the service, it deserves five-star praise~ The hotel is located by the sea, the environment is beautiful, the rooms are clean and sanitary, and the breakfast is delicious~ Special thanks to the brother who picked us up from the parking lot. Before coming to Dali, I carefully screened many hotels, booked several and cancelled several, but I always felt that I didn't meet my favorite, until I met "Wake Up". Its unique arch sea view caught my attention at once, and the tasteful decoration and exquisite soft furnishings attracted me immediately. Living here is like living in a dynamic landscape painting. The sea view keeps changing with the weather, and every moment is a visual feast. In addition, the service of the inn also made me feel very comfortable: there is no over-enthusiasm, nor is it deliberately catered to, but it is as natural and warm as a family, giving people a sense of comfort. The daily breakfast is refreshing and delicious, full of fresh vitality, and the afternoon tea is also exquisite and unforgettable. A good inn can indeed make the journey better I will definitely choose to wake up next time I come

The location of the inn is just across a pedestrian street from Erhai Lake. There is a small balcony in the room in the evening. You can sit on the balcony and take a nap at night, listening to the melodious music in the small square downstairs. It's so comfortable ~
