Friendly owners always going the extra mile for guests. 5 minutes walk from ancient town, 15 minutes drive from Cangshan and Three pagodas. Would stay again!

This is an absolutely fantastic hotel. It's in a terrific and quiet location, just a short walk to the ancient city. The room was really comfortable, exceptionally clean, and very modern. The staff don't speak English, and I don't speak Chinese, but they were all very helpful via translate apps, the most friendly and helpful guys of any of the hotels I've stayed in so far in China. It was a bonus to have access to a washer/dryer on the rooftop. They kindly gave me a lovely gift when I was leaving and refunded some money I'd forgotten about. Highly recommended as it will be hard to find anywhere this good elsewhere in China.

There is also a place to wash and hang clothes, which is perfect for our family with two children. I also want to praise the breakfast, although it is simple but never tire of it. A bowl of rice noodles is the best way to wake up in Dali. The bosses are two handsome guys. Xiao Gao enthusiastically carried our luggage for us, patiently introduced the local delicious and fun things, as well as the tourist routes and pit avoidance guides. I have to praise the cute puppy: Xiaopi, very cute and good temper, our two children were reluctant to leave when they left, and will come again next time.

If you want to visit the ancient city of Dali, this homestay is definitely very convenient. It is only a few hundred meters away from the Red Dragon Well Gate of the ancient city. You can walk in from the Red Dragon Well Gate, walk along the water all the way to Fuxing Road, then walk to the South Gate first, take a photo, then walk along Fuxing Road, arrive at the Marshal's Mansion at nine o'clock, visit it in half an hour, then continue to walk along Fuxing Road, use the navigation to walk to the Confucian Temple, Dali Catholic Church, and finally go out from the North Gate Farmers Market, and you can visit the ancient city of Dali in one morning. The homestay has a small rooftop, where you can overlook the ancient city, Erhai Lake, Cangshan Mountain, and the Three Pagodas in the distance. You can see the sunrise and sunset, but it was a pity that it rained heavily that night when I stayed, so there were dark clouds in the morning, blocking the sunrise. The sunrise in Dali is about 6:20, and the sunset is after 7:30. The hygiene is OK, but it's a bit troublesome to adjust the water temperature of the shower. The Bai restaurant at the street corner recommended by the boss is delicious and not expensive. The service is warm, and they took the initiative to help carry the luggage. When I left, they also gave me souvenirs such as rose jam and brown sugar. In short, it is recommended.

Love it~ I will stay here again when I come back in winter~
