Very poor breakfast. Average sleeping. Hotel does need some improvement, probably the photos online are from its inauguration, for ages...

We stayed for one night only and it was one of the best rooms we had in our trip, the staff was very helpful and we got a free upgrade.

Amazing, friendly hotel with nice location, close to the old town and the university street with cool coffee shops and cozy restaurants. Easy to access the cable car, the Three Pagodas, and a short walk to old town.

It is situated a 10-15mn walk from the Old City South Entrance. The location is very easy to reach from the train station : you take bus no8 or the numberless bus, which will stop you 5mn away from the hotel which is kind of easy to find (when you don't speak Chinese, this is precious).
This hotel is in fact made of 2 buildings, the old one and the new one. Building 1 has the wooden bedrooms, which are nice and comfortable. They give over the street, so a little noise from outside but it's OK. The most expensive ones are the "Santorini like' rooms, in the second building. Only downside : construction works ongoing in the area, lots of noise during the day.
The facilities are nice : nice garden, nice resting area, 2 rooftops, a kitchen area. it is perfect to have a rest.
Thank you to the staff, who, after seeing my deception because the swimming pool was empty, filled in just for me on the 2nd day. the swimming pool is of a nice size.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone who come to Dali. The owner is super friendly and helpful. Even she cannot speak English but she tried to communicate with me by using translator and she helped me whenever I need.
The hotel also offer free pick up and drop off service at the Ancient town.

The hotel in general was good, in a quiet place and not far from the old city, they also offer pick up and drop off to the old city.
The front desk was very helpful and positive. They helped us with booking tickets and advices how to get to Lijiang without trouble.
The breakfast was average, simple breakfast but still a great plus as you don't need to find a place to eat outside early in the morning.
In general quite satisfied.

Everything was great and staff is friendly. Bedroom was clean and big enough for two people. Also breakfast was very simple but delicious. Location was a plus. Located right near Ancient town.

Pros: good price, the bathtub is big and comfortable, lots of hot water for baths and showers, and the host responded quickly to our messages. Also, the location is right on the edge of the ancient town so it’s easily accessible by walking and place is not noisy from ancient town activities. Lastly, host helped organize a carpool to Shangri-la for us.
Cons: the host was not ready to receive us at check-in, new bottled water was not given for each day, and we were told the pool would be available but the water level was too low to swim. There seemed to be one person working there at the time and sometimes we could not find him at the front guest when we had a question.

Wonderful hotel and gracious hosts! Very helpful even with uneventful things such as washing clothes and getting Covid tests. Lots of photo opportunities, great location and a relaxed environment.

Such a peaceful Stay just close to the mountains, great for a relaxed vibe.
Easy and nice area to navigate, the host is so friendly and helpful.
Got lucky to have our room upgraded at no charge 😊, we planning to go back there in the near future!

We had an excellent 2 night stay at this hotel. The owner offers free buggy service to the old town which is convenient. Facing the mountains, the room offers some nice scenic views and the courtyard is comfortable.
