Location was very good, relative to the old town. Rooms are spread all around the hotel grounds. Typical Chinese-run hotel with the usual Chinese breakfast of porridge and not too exciting noodles.
Rates are rather exhorbitant for what you get. Hotel seem to have difficulty checking in with Visa and Mastercard so it was finally settled with cash payment.

Fantastic location in the heart of the Dali Ancient Village! When we arrived, the room was very cold and took a long time to warm up (only a winter issue in Dali) The staff were helpful and the breakfast delicious!

Very well located with the old town area. Staff very friendly and the rooms are a nice size. The bathroom is ok but could do with updating.
