This hotel offers a quiet environment. It is in the old town. Staying in the old town gives me ample opportunities to explore the old town at my own pace. Recommend to travel light because the old town pavement is not ideal for dragging luggage on wheel. Backpack would be the best. I will consider to stay here again if I visit Dali again. It’s entrance is a bid secluded. Please look for the High School East Entrance 云南省大理第一中学(东北1门) because this hotel entrance is about 30 metres from the school entrance.

This was by far our best accommodation in our 10 days in Yunnan. What made our stay truly special was the warmth and kindness of the boss. Being foreigners, we needed advice on how to book stuff, places to eat etc and the boss was there to help us every step of the way. He helped us to reserve a private car for a day’s tour around Erhai Lake for a very reasonable price, woke up early to bring us to the meeting point, and gave us bottles of water to bring along. During our stay in Dali, he regularly updated us through WeChat on potential changes in the weather and sent us kind reminders (e.g. reapply sunblock due to strong UV rays, to bring our umbrella and sweater out) which put a smile on our faces. On the last day, he woke up early just to help us with our luggage to the main road. Also, no worries if you can’t speak mandarin! WeChat has a translate function which is very helpful :) The inn is beautiful and its location is excellent - right in the middle of the old town, yet very quiet at night. Our room was newly renovated, very spacious and very clean. The water pressure was great and the toilet bowl had a bidet function. The AC worked well during our stay as well. Would highly recommend this inn for your stay in Dali!

This location is perfect for your stay in Dali. Right in the middle of Old Town. Great night life. Lots of food and clubs and shops and people walking around. Be prepared that you will have to walk 2 to 3 blocks with your suitcase as old town is walking area. It is worth it to be in the middle of everything. It is easy to take a cab to the lake for pictures. There are lots of scooters and bikes along the lake path. Try to get your cab to drop you off by any of the hotels along the lake and you will rent scooter and have a great time! I will definitely stay here again. Regarding the hotel, it is nothing to see from the outside but the rooms are fabulous. Great linens and towels. Great service. Large room. Great price too.

Every day after you go out, the cleaner will clean for you without saying anything. The owner of the hotel will sit at the front desk when he is free. You can ask him any questions about Dali, and he will tell you everything. Chatting with the boss feels that he is a very literary person. It feels good. This time we are a family of three on a parent-child tour, and it feels really great. What I said above is my personal experience. The inn is located in the center of Dali Ancient Town, adjacent to Dali No. 1 Middle School, and is quiet in the bustling city. The environment inside the inn is also very good, simple, quiet and peaceful, especially in the morning, sitting on the open small balcony, the sun behind you is refreshing. The boss is also nice, very talkative, giving people a sense of coolness. The facilities in the room are also complete, including a smart toilet, bathtub, disposable toilet mat, bathtub mat, and a large space. There are two shortcomings in the ointment, and I can't give it a five-star rating: one is that the sofa cover in the room is black and can't be beaten off. I didn't dare to sit on the sofa for two days; the other is that the hot water is a bit slow, especially when I get up in the morning, the hot water needs to be put in for 5 minutes or even longer. The above two points affect the living experience, and I hope the boss can improve it.

The room size is very spacious and bright. I browsed nearby B&Bs and finally chose Tsuen Hei based on the location and room size. I started to worry about whether the hotel will be shabby in 2019. When I checked in and opened the door, I was pleasantly surprised. The room layout is reasonable, clean and tidy. You can also make tea in the courtyard on the first floor. It is very important to choose the hotel of your choice when traveling. If you choose the right hotel, the whole trip will be enjoyable. This trip to Dali, whether it is a five-star hotel in Kunming, a sea view room in Caicun, or a B&B in Dali, they are all Best value for money.
