The family room is great for my family of 5 (2 adults and young children). I love the feel of the original old building and how modern amenities are fitted to make it a comfortable hotel. Most importantly, the service at the hotel was great — free train station send-off, nightly desert, laundry service and great advice on where to visit in Dali. The duty staff was always smiling during our stay.

Beautiful hotel with 8 rooms only.. As hotel welcomes families, a bit noisy with kids sometimes despite the enchanting and relaxing atmosphere. Chinese breakfast.

Awesome service. They helped to carry luaggages up and down the stairs which I appreciate as we were travelling with elderly. They have a washing machine that I didn’t get to use - it was occupied most of the time. Ended up hand washing my clothes with the free clothes detergent provided in the shower. Service is awesome. Breakfast is wholesome. Location right at the old town.

Fantastic service, and the room was beautiful. Room wasn’t huge but had great amenities and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is very historic. Delicious (and very big!) breakfast every morning. Kitten was an added plus!

Beautiful local style designed hotel. Courtyard is lovely. The room wasn't very spacious but nice and cozy. Great location, right next to Dali oldtown. Very friendly and service oriented staff members.

Located on Yincang Road in the ancient city of Dali, the old house offers tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle, and the service is friendly and thoughtful.

The room was even better than expected. There was also a cat named Youtiao. The service was great, especially the housekeeper. He planned routes according to needs, which was safe and secure. He also recommended local delicacies. He truly felt at home and thought about the needs of his guests. The artistic conception and atmosphere of the room are perfect and will last forever.

The hotel is antique and the interior environment is quite nice. I like this kind of ancient environment. The hotel staff are very enthusiastic and responsive. The cats are also very cute and clingy. If you call him Mimi, he will come over, although his name is Youtiao. There is also a patterned cat that is difficult to touch and very timid, but if you meet it and be patient, he will also let you touch it. However, it is not easy to meet. The breakfast every day is quite rich, with fruit dry food, pickled vegetables and rice noodles, etc., as well as milk, coffee and tea. There will be dessert before bed at night.

I originally booked a normal room, but I got a free upgrade to a room for one night. It is said that Tianxi Mansion is the residence of the last county magistrate. It is located in the ancient city of Dali. The transportation is very convenient. The hotel also provides free airport pick-up service. The host is also very nice and polite. The whole hotel is a very beautiful and clean courtyard. It is a good experience.

Tianxi Mansion is a 160-year-old official residence, a typical Bai building, with an antique style and rich heritage. The room is clean and tidy. I originally planned to stay for one night, but I decided to add one more night after checking in that day to experience different room types. The hotel's cat "Youtiao" really wants to take it home. 😍 So well-behaved and cute😊. I will stay here again with my friends next time.

I must say that this is an excellent experience, compared to other hotels in this trip (still on the road but I really want to eat their cat fritters hahaha), and overall our impression of Dali has been raised to 100 point. The hotel has a classical and elegant design, with modern and comprehensive facilities. We provide pick-up and drop-off services and receive our driver Xiao Yang (who is simply a tour guide). We hired this driver to lead the way for the three-day trip. If you don’t have a driver, you can make an appointment with the hotel’s master. The price is reasonable and the itinerary is impeccable. I met you during the trip. He is happy to solve all the problems of renting a bicycle, he is careful, and he talks and laughs. The staff is hospitable and enthusiastic. The lady upgraded our room type when we checked in. The hotel provides breakfast, desserts and unlimited fruits. The quality and taste of the food are satisfactory. You can also make tea and chat with the staff. They also give you souvenirs when you check out, what a surprise! The location of the hotel is close to the ancient city. It is so quiet and not noisy in the ancient city. The transportation is convenient, there are many attractions and shops nearby, and you can easily walk to many tourist attractions, which added convenience and fun to my trip. Not only is it worth trying, you can try it two, three, four or five times ♡
