This was by far our best accommodation in our 10 days in Yunnan. What made our stay truly special was the warmth and kindness of the boss. Being foreigners, we needed advice on how to book stuff, places to eat etc and the boss was there to help us every step of the way. He helped us to reserve a private car for a day’s tour around Erhai Lake for a very reasonable price, woke up early to bring us to the meeting point, and gave us bottles of water to bring along. During our stay in Dali, he regularly updated us through WeChat on potential changes in the weather and sent us kind reminders (e.g. reapply sunblock due to strong UV rays, to bring our umbrella and sweater out) which put a smile on our faces. On the last day, he woke up early just to help us with our luggage to the main road. Also, no worries if you can’t speak mandarin! WeChat has a translate function which is very helpful :) The inn is beautiful and its location is excellent - right in the middle of the old town, yet very quiet at night. Our room was newly renovated, very spacious and very clean. The water pressure was great and the toilet bowl had a bidet function. The AC worked well during our stay as well. Would highly recommend this inn for your stay in Dali!

I stayed an extra night due to train conflicts and the lovely staff helped me to figure out my train to the next district. They were gracious to help with the taxi and negotiating the fare to the train station. We walked together to the intersection and they sent messages by text to remind me what to tell the driver. I am very grateful👍❤️🌸

The hotel main entrance is a coffee shop. The homestay is on their upper floor. The name of the homestay is call mishe ”蜜舍”. First time searching thr place, you may miss it. However, the host is nice and helpful. They contacted us a day early and guide us to their homestay. The homestay is located in strategic place easy to get arround in Dali Ancient city and places that need to use Didi or Taxi. The room we are staying is quit special where this is the highest floor near to the top floor with balcony. Inside the room is quit spacious, alot skylight which you can enjoy the night sky when you sleep, have sofa where you can hang up or watch TV... It's perfect for the couple. But I don't recommend for family with children or old folk and tall guys (because certain part ceiling is quit low😅). Unfortunately, during our stay one of the curtain was damage which we could not close thr window with curtain for the privacy. The rooftop balcony is under maintenance which we cannot use. Overall, we have a great stay in Dali.

The location is excellent, Foreigner Street is right at the back door of the hotel. The surrounding facilities are very convenient, including food, drink and entertainment. Parking at the hotel is convenient and there are plenty of parking spaces. Breakfast is very rich. The price is slightly expensive, recommended

This inn selected by the review is really warmer than home. Their actual store is much better than the picture! First of all, the environment is good and the location is good. It is convenient to go shopping, take a taxi, and go to scenic spots such as Cangshan and Erhai! There is a beautiful courtyard in the hotel! The facilities are well-equipped, complete and of good quality, smart toilet, constant temperature digital display shower, all solid wood furniture, each room is equipped with air conditioning, bedding, disposable supplies and toiletries are all very high-end! Even the toothbrush is a customized bamboo handle soft-bristled toothbrush, Shuke toothpaste, from the details, it can be seen that the boss is very attentive to the guests! The service is quite good, and the housekeeper feels like a relative who has not seen each other for a long time! The sanitation is very clean, the room is not decorated with technology and hard work such as wall cloth, and the sleep is very good and comfortable! For breakfast, the breakfast of this hotel is really healthy and delicious, and the nutrition is very reasonable. Both the elderly and children like it very much! Highly recommended!

Location is great , it’s inside Dali Ancient Town ! Lulu is super nice and friendly 😚 She even helps us to carry our luggage while it’s raining outside. One thing to note tho, remember to contact the hotel to get the correct drop off point, if you get down at the wrong side, u might need to drag your luggage and walk on the stone path for 10min.

I stayed there for one night so I didn't take many photos of the B&B environment because I was in a hurry to see Erhai Lake. But the B&B environment is good. I heard from the owner that if the weather is good, you can see Cangshan Mountain from the top of the building. If you come when the weather is good, the owner is also very nice. I believe you will have a happy trip to Dali. I like the breakfast they prepare! It's very good! Youtiao is also very popular in Dali Ancient City. Extraordinary Youtiao~

Lovely hotel located in a quiet alley. The staff are really friendly and helpful. I reached early and they were helpful in arranging for a room for me to check into. I did notice ants crawling on the headboard, and the toilet was not flushed. My room was on the 1st floor and both mornings I was awakened by loud voices from other guests. This is also about 1km walk to the center of the old town - manageable for me since there’s plenty to look at. Overall a good stay for the price paid.

Recommended by a friend, it is in an alley more than 100 meters outside the entrance of the ancient city. It is very quiet and has excellent service. The daily breakfast and afternoon tea are also very good. The service attitude is also very good. Several girls are very cute and very considerate to help carry luggage. The hotel combs, large bath towels, and slippers can be taken away, which I like very much. Most importantly, the top floor is a great place for taking pictures. I took a lot of beautiful photos there on the first day. I will definitely go there next time. We had difficulties finding the hotel because it was quite hidden and the sign was not lighted up after certain time at night (we arrived in Dali quite late). Luckily a person helped us to find it. The check in process was swift. The room was quite big with all basic amenities provided including bath towel. I do not have any photos to show but it was a standard modern hotel room. The receptionist was very friendly and could recommend you places to visit in Dali. They did not know English so you have to use translation app. Recommended to stay if you are on budget.
