Hotels near Zhoucheng Confucian Temple and Wu Temple, Dali

I came to Dali as a transit station and I liked the breakfast of this restaurant. It is not close to the train station, but fortunately the hotel has a pick-up service. I chose a double room that allows you to sleep until you wake up naturally, which is very quiet. I praised this breakfast very much. I ate a lot. The rice noodles are standard, the toast is very good, and there are also grilled milk fans, fruits, cakes, corn, and pumpkin are all delicious.

The title of the room was a bit misleading, i filtered the room in the ‘leisure smart room (with view)’ and saw that people got the room overlooking the bridge but when i booked and checked in, the view was actually another block of building like in my picture. 🥲🥲🥲 Was really disappointed of the misleading title. So not sure what is actually the ‘view’ here. But other than that, all other amenities are great. The host and family was very welcoming. They offered tea and even offered lunch. We politely said no bcs we already had lunch before. I wish this hotel will get its exposure it needs. It’s really good aside from the misleading room title.

The sheets and duvet covers are very clean. The only drawback is that the sound insulation of the corridor is not very good and it is a bit noisy. Also, the slippers are very hard and hurt the soles of my feet.

This should be the best hotel in Dali. But it's because of the very personal service that the concierge gave. Coco went way beyond her responsibilities to meet our requests and even offer more than what we asked for. She always reponded to our weChat text very quickly. Coco really deserves to be rewarded. It reflects a good culture in the hotel as other staff are also very helpful. It really made our stay in Dali memorable. Location of the hotel is also very good; just opposite the cruise terminal and a short walk to many restaurants. The view of the lake from the room is really nice. Breakfast is also good and extensive. If I ever visit Dali again, I will surely stay at Pullman again, and look for Coco.

The service is always good. I usually choose Vienna when I travel. The location is convenient. It is not far from Dali Port and the ecological corridor. The room is facing the sea. If you don't want to get up early to watch the sunrise, you can do it in the room. It is family-friendly and can be considered for mid-range travel. Parking is available at the hotel.

I highly recommend this hotel. Although it is in downtown Dali, it is not far to the high-speed rail station and the ancient city by taxi. It was not the National Day when I checked in, so it was considered the off-season. I upgraded to the 11th-floor sea view room with a great view. I could see Erhai Lake and the sunrise in the room, which was very beautiful. The drink exchange coupons can be exchanged for drinks on the rooftop above the 12th floor. The exchange types include coffee and wine. The fries and pizza inside are also good, and the price is not too expensive. The drink bar has indoor and outdoor areas. The outdoor rooftop can view Erhai Lake, and the indoor large glass windows can see Cangshan Mountain. The hotel is very close to the starting point of the Erhai Lake Ecological Corridor. There is a shared battery car downstairs, which can be reached in about 5 minutes. You can travel around the ecological corridor to the Haixi Line, and it is also close to the Xingsheng Bridge, a popular check-in point. The room hygiene and service attitude are very good. When checking out, the child was given a small rabbit lamp and a box of exquisitely packaged tea. Compared with various homestays, it is still more recommended to stay in a hotel. It is convenient to take a taxi in Dali and the price is cheap.

Maybe it's because it's been open for a long time. The room is very old. I forgot to take pictures. The wooden cabinet in the toilet is rotten. The pictures are the same as the comments! ! Here comes the point. There seems to be bullfrogs on the beach downstairs. They keep croaking. They can still be heard even when the windows are closed. But you can turn on the air conditioner, so you can only hear the sound like an old-fashioned dryer, and you can't hear the bullfrogs. There is an observation deck on the roof where you can watch the sunrise, which is very good. It's also very close to Yangnan Creek, just over 10 minutes' walk away. However, the boss is still quite nice and enthusiastic. He will send some travel guides when you enter the store, which is a good point!

Overall it’s a good experiences, Guest Relations team proactively recovered my bad experiences when we had the breakfast and extend the check out till 2pm with some amenities and fruits delivery. Buffet restaurant definitely need more trainings about how to bring more efficient during the peak hours but service staff attitude are very positive. Breakfast food is ok. Facilities are quite new and well maintained - reception helped to upgrade my rooms as we traveled together and arrange properly. Except the elevator which is quite odd that you have to take excessive steps to lobby. Location is good near the bottom of the ErHai having a great seat view but if you want to go to the ancient city or some ancient towns to the west of the sea you’d better have a car or you have drivers.

The hotel is close to the high-speed railway station, and it is very close to the high-speed railway station by taxi. The only regret is that the room is small, one of the washbasins is next to the bed, and the bathroom is not big. The hotel is relatively new, the facilities are not old, and the hygiene is OK.
