This is a great homestay experience, the ceiling of our domestic homestay! Environment: This homestay is located between green waters and green mountains, quiet and beautiful, and the decoration in the homestay is also very elegant and stylish, creating a particularly relaxing atmosphere! Our group of six people said that they didn't want to go out on a hot day! Service: Service of five-star hotel! We arrived in the middle of the night on the first day. There was a waiter at the front desk waiting for us to check in and provide us with additional bottled water, and their bottled water is also very high-end. Canada 🇨🇦 Imported, toiletries are also Australian brand Juliique 🤩 Very few homestays have waiters 24 hours a day It's too rare to be on duty, there is a response to everything 👍 Hygiene: Absolutely the health standard of a 5-star hotel! ! ! It is particularly reassuring and safe to live! Facilities: The single beds in the hotel are all 1.5 meters. It is really ”decent”. The mattress is particularly comfortable. The friends in the same group want to buy it home. We found that the restaurant of this homestay is not to be missed 👍 We agreed that it is the best food and beverage production in Dalian (maybe one or not one 🤣). The day before we went to eat Dalian's famous local seafood restaurant, which is too far from this! The ingredients here make us Cantonese people full of praise! The most amazing thing is that we gave a friend a birthday here. It was really amazing by the ”clothing field” of the hotel restaurant. It was so chic that the green layout was so chic. This was not the general level. Star hotels may not be able to do it. It was too advanced! There is also a golf course near the hotel. I must stay at this hotel again next time. It is really suitable for three or five confidants to travel!

Good location in the center of the city, close to shopping mall and restaurants. Clean room with good price. Lots to choose for breakfast. Cathy Lin in front desk is helpful and she provided good service, it is a good choice for business trip in Dalian.

This Shangri-La does not have the iconic aroma smell in the lobby area. And throughout our stay of 2N, we noticed they do not have the iconic smell! How disappointing. The front desk lady is professional but service without smile. Very robotic. We visited the lobby lounge and we were served by this waitress that is just doing her job, not friendly. The breakfast is awesome, Shang's standard. Room is old and need a facelift badly. A far cry from the other Shang that I've visited.

This was our first time staying here and it definitely exceeded out expectations. The service was wonderful! We were treated very kindly by the staff and are especially thankful for Ms. KiKi for helping us out! Food was also great as well as the location. Highly recommended!

To be honest, I expected a lot for this hotel. Well too much expectation. 我想太多了！ The room, when we first entered it was smelly like I don’t know…like an old room. Clean, yes. But the smell not so ok especially when we have a baby. The Electric plugs, OMG😱 PLEASE FIX IT !!! At first it was ok but then it stopped everywhere. We need to find which electric plug works so we can boil the water and charge our phones. And the last, the WIFI. Speechless on this one. I was thinking that I can do my work during stay at this hotel. But the connection sooooo poor !!!!! I had to use my personal hotspot from my phone to do my work using laptop. Well…I spoke to the receptionist but they said, well maybe because of a lot of people are using it. Well….it’s a big hotel, not a small apartment or even house. Anyways….next time I won’t take much higher expectations on this. Tks!

It is difficult to review this hotel without talking about the pros and the cons of the location. As a beach resort the location, it is still struggling to recover from the Covid lull and many of the attractions are being refurbished this year in preparation for a hopeful end of season, but more realistically 2024. The landscape is beautiful and worth the visit and the hotel itself was clean, professional, excellently staffed and a joy to stay at. The food was above average and we particularly enjoyed the breakfasts. I would stay here again if I wanted some quiet time to relax on my own, or if I had a family that needed lots of differnet activities to keep the little ones happy.

This second time staying here, like the first, didn't disappoint. As before, visiting during the off-peak time is ideal for a quiet, uncrowded getaway. The sea-view room is welcoming and comfortable, with a view that is uncluttered and peaceful; opening the patio doors to the sound of waves rolling in equals instant relaxation. Aside from having a super comfortable bed and all the useful amenities one could need, there were simple niceties about the room, like the ability to adjust the temperature and fan speed (which runs quietly without disturbing sleep), ample hot water to fill a soaker tub, and multiple options for adjusting the room lighting. The hotel is immaculately clean, the grounds are meticulously maintained, and access to the beach is just steps away. The breakfast is substantial, with a variety of both Chinese and Western dishes. The staff was friendly and happy to care for our needs, even providing a power converter which I forgot to pack. Those in search of a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of the city can't go wrong by staying here. Highly recommend, and hope to visit again in the future. Very good location and family friendly hotel. Pool for adults and children is nice and clean. Gym is very good equipped. Breakfast and Dinner has very good quality and choice

We found this hotel to be extremely enjoyable!! Many of the staff could speak English and there was no stress to communicate what we needed. The interior and exterior are beautiful. The breakfast and dinner buffets were very tasty. Best breakfast buffet we’ve had in China so far! The only improvement would be the smell of the bedding in the room. It smelled just a bit dusty.

The hotel staff were so kind and friendly. They did not speak English but we're able to communicate using a translation APP. The brought extra water bottles to my room and asked about the room temperature. I ended up staying at my girlfriend's apartment instead of the hotel after the first night and they allowed me to cancel even though they didn't have to. I had ordered a jacket to be delivered to my room, which ended up arriving after I checked out. The hotel kept it for me and let me pick it up from there once delivered. The view from my room was awesome. The only negative was the walls were a little thin and I could hear the neighbors. I'd definitely stay here again.
