Home2 Suites by Hilton Rowlett Rockwall Marina

The location was amazing. Situated perfectly on a cove of Lake Hubbard. The freeway, shops and eateries were all a short drive away. The room was spacious, and very nicely decorated. The staff was helpful and friendly. There were a few items that needed addressing, but were not deal breakers by any means. First, we all know how it is when you get up in the middle of the night to use the restroom. The objective is always to return back to sleep as quickly as possible. Not so easy with the motion detector bathroom light. Upon entry, the shower, sink and toilet light unwelcomingly greets you. The second like it is this, the room is appointed with a very nice power shade at the window; however, it does not a complete seal allowing the morning light to beacon you. Finally, because of the spaciousness of the room the TV is far from the sofa and the bed; hence, a larger display is needed.

Only negative this visit was no stove burner as it is to be like home so to say. Other than that it is quiet and right near train to get to where you gotta go. I wish price were cheaper but worth every penny this stay.

Because it is close to a friend's apartment, I stayed again, I like this hotel very much, and it is suitable for official travel. The picture is taken from the room.

I was staying in town to go with my teen daughter to a concert at American Airlines Center. This hotel has easy access on and off the highway. There is a Chick Fil A and a 7 Eleven gas station in front of it, in the same parking lot as the hotel which made for a super easy way to get food and gas before leaving town. The hotel is very clean and smells nice. The doors are locked at 8pm so make sure you have your key. We had no problems with our stay. Room was clean and cold at arrival. All were friendly. A young man helped my daughter to open the door when her hands were full, dropping things even. He picked them off the floor and handed them to her, holding the door for us both. Breakfast smelled good and was promptly served. Hiltons Honors got us snacks and waters and were there waiting for our arrival. I was impressed with the hotel, service, and parking. It is right down from Parkland and a Children's Hospital so it would be a good place to stay if you are in the area for medical needs as well as American Airlines Center events.
