La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dallas I-35 Walnut Hill Ln Reviews

First of all the area is extremely rough… Secondly, my car got damaged due to a long nail that we was sticking out of a car stopper in the parking lot… The entire bumper of my car got damaged and it popped out… I showed it to the receptionist and took some pictures and videos to prove it… The receptionist didn’t even bother to the unfortunate incident and said sorry I can’t help you… They even charge $100.00 incidental charge on my credit card besides the room charges… Later they said they will refund it once they check the room… I am a very frequent traveler, No one has ever charged any incidental charges… I am extremely upset with this horrible attitude… They serve lousy breakfast and literally don’t have anything… It is going to cost me at least $1,500.00 to fix the bumper due to the nail one inch in diagram that was sticking out… The guy didn’t seem eager to fix it so that this unfortunate incident doesn’t happen to any other hotel guest… I would like to report this to the La Quinta Corporate Office… Please provide me their complaint email or phone number…

Service at the hotel was good, bed comfortable, room seemed to be clean, but had a couple of issues with the room. Shower did not have a lot of pressure due to a leak behind the shower head. Heater never seemed to warm at all. Neither one of these issues was a big deal to me so I reported them when I checked out, lady promised they would be fixed. Breakfast was a little skimpy, still had the basics such as cereal, waffle, egg and sausage coffee milk and juice. Would have loved to have some bananas. Only really negative thing I would say is the location, (wife not very pleased with all the activities going on at night if you get my point) which I think is kind of unfair for the hotel but that's why you would pay twice or three times as much for a better location. Overall I think it was a good stay for the price.

It was cleaned and the room has a good space.

This was the worst place that I have EVER stayed at. There were drug deals going on in the parking lot. Dirty, used condoms in the parking lot. Women working the parking lot at all hours and walking the halls. The hallways smelled of *********. Security guard appeared to be in cahoots with what was occurring. The hotel was very dirty. The continental breakfast was like someone threw a couple (literally) yogurts in a cooler, a couple of muffins and waffles. When I checked in they required a $100.00 fee to be refunded upon having your room inspected before checking out. That was fine but they ran my card twice, denied it and refuse at this point to make it right. They have parties in the parking lot and play loud music, the bass literally resonates in the room until all hours. I literally got no sleep.

It was horrible. My money was taken and not refunded. The cops were there arresting someone so the parking lot was full of them. I had my children with me so I did not feel safe having then there.

Clean place and breakfast buffet was decent but Not the greatest stay. The tv was pixelated off and on the entire stay. The coffee maker in the room was broken and spewed out hot water all over the tray it was sitting on. Not a single drop got in the cup. And surrounding area was a little sketchy. Probably will not be staying here again.

I lived that the floors were more modern. I did wish there was a drain in the tub but the co sostsnt hot water more than made up for it. Plenty of towels and wash cloths. It wasnt possible to adjust shelf height in the mini fridge due to the position of the cupboard door but we made it work. We brought our daughter so needed the milk jug. The front desk staff was amazingly accomadating and polite. I'd stay there again. Amazing in general. The price wqs a huge bonus

Only thing I did not like that phone was not working to contact front desk. The heater was not on when we first arrived. I had to walk to the front to tell front desk. The guy there was nice enough to help turn the switch on. Then some channels from cable were not working the signal was poor. Other than that everything else was ok. Although, If I had to stay another night, I would.

The way the tv is set up is horrible. You can only access channels 10-81. But to access you can only do by going station by station. It takes FOREVER. There is no guide. The hallway’s could be a little cleaner. It’s not welcoming.

The guy at the front desk was not helpful at all, he sent us to two dirty rooms. And all ice machines were broke, no ice on premises, when we ask about them he was rude. He was in the back room everytime we went to the desk with questions and it was late afternoon and early evening (prime check in time)

The only thing had problems with the tv at first.But my granddaughter lost her phone and they put it up for us.

Cipriano and other staff members that I encountered were nice, but the overall feel of the hotel was unsafe, unclean and noisy. The bathroom shower curtain was ripped and torn, many bugs came out of the drains in the bathroom, paint splatters and paint all over the floor, sticky and dirty floors, each night there was incredibly loud music playing somewhere past midnight, and the area doesn't seem to be located in a safe location either.

We were placed next to the machine room and it was the noisiest hotel I have EVER stayed in. At 2am I gave up trying to sleep and called the front desk to find a different room. Their phone was turned off, so I had to go to the front desk to get a new room. The second room was quieter but not quiet! Worst La Quinta Inn! Also we were told that breakfast was served until 9.30am but they stopped serving at 9am.

Would not stay here again. Lights outside were so bright they filtered into the room at night. Right next to highway so loud traffic. Zero water pressure in the shower. We were there for 3 nights and our room was never serviced - I had to go to the front desk for towels. They don't enforce no smoking and often smelled like **** in the hallways. Only 1 elevator works and it's terrible slow. Breakfast was bare minimum and short hours so not even worth going down for it.
