Kasa Highland Park Dallas

This property is the equivalent of a low quality college dorm. The disappointment and felling that this was a massive mistake was immediate. The parking garage was filthy. The labyrinth of hallways that I needed to navigate had various mixing orders, trash and vape. The overall atmosphere and feel of the building was a dirty industrial with no positive characteristics. Our particular unit was without character and was of the standard of my first apartment, 30 years ago. So what is my issue? This is marketed as a hotel alternative. When I called to address my issues, I was told my complaint would be handled and I would hear back. I got a generic email. Kasa is a company that takes liberties with words, crafting a view that stretches the meaning of the words. MY ADVICE - STAY CLEAR

From the first impression of the dirty parking garage to the broken elevator to access or room, the place gives off rundown vibes. The room looked clean at first but the moldings and baseboards were dirty and the rug was very stained. The dining chairs were plastic. There weren’t dressers to unpack. The beds are twin ( one of which shook with every movement on the bed). The unit was very roomy. The negatives could possibly have been overlooked if it weren’t for the SMELL which started out mild and progressed to unbearable and nauseating. We left the hotel with 2 nights remaining in our stay. We were refunded $60.00. Not acceptable. No one could have stayed in that smell which seemed like sewage

This property is conveniently located right outside of downtown and you can get anywhere within minutes thanks to all the freeways. However unfortunately this property is located in a multiplex and as such while it cannot be controlled the adjacent units and travel through the building is less than stellar there is garbage out in the hallways and an overwhelming odor of ********* and just a general mechanical odor. The unit itself well cute at first glance has very poor furniture, not truly practical for a relaxing weekend, all furniture is TJ Maxx/HomeGoods quality at best, which is fine, but unfortunately is not comfortable at all. The overall cleaning of the unit on the interior definitely leaves something to be desired, considering the fact that we are still amidst a pandemic, I don’t believe that there should be dust and almost every surface that he would run your finger across, I also don’t believe that there should be candy wrappers or tags from a clothing laying around is that suggest that things were not cleaned properly between the previous guest stay and ours. While I understand that this company owns many many units throughout the US and is not personally liable for cleaning a little bit of checks and balances in regards to checking up on their housekeeping staff would go a long ways, I can say that I will not be choosing to stay in any units that this host has anywhere based on this.

Comfortable property and will definitely stay again. Locate perfect for our visit to SMU. Kitchen was fully functional, plenty of closet space. Just follow the directions at check in that your given, it's all virtual and you'll be fine. No front desk. Recommend

Convenient to the SMU campus, nice and clean -- worked perfectly for two people. Nice to have working kitchen with amenities.

Very spacious, rooms bathrooms, kitchen, own Landry inside the apartment. Lots of room. Very clean, very convenient, great value, easy to drive to any place in Dallas. I highly recommend this place. No warm pool or SPA, gym in the promises. No cable TV only streaming TV, only one TV Kitchen well equipped with basics, enough for a stay. We stay there for 10 days family of 4
