Marriott Dallas Uptown

Stayed here for the Crimes Against child abuse conference. I was very disappointed! There is no pool! There is no Continental Breakfast! The staff were very nice! My room was on the 4th floor and overlooking the inside of the hotel. Which I hated, I would rather have windows facing the outside. The shower was amazing and very clean. It was a great conference just wish they offered breakfast and a pool!

Ms. Evette and Ms. Toni, the front desk receptionists, were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and warm. They made my check-in and extra day stay smooth and easy. I commend them for their excellent service. The hotel is located in one of the best areas in Dallas and is extremely nice and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a great hotel in a fantastic location. Lastly, the valet service made retrieving my car quick and effortless. I am very grateful for that. This hotel is now my go to spot whenever visiting Dallas. Thank you Marriott Uptown!!!

Beautiful hotel. Great location. But totally hollow service. Uncomfortable, 100% synthetic comforter so impossible to sleep under (cold-hot-cold-hot) that I had to finally tear it out of the duvet. At least that was as 100% cotton and if I folded it three times almost resembles the semblance of a blanket. Then I’m thirsty and hungry. No water or snacks in the room. No mini bar. That’s fine. I’ll go downstairs and buy a snack from surely somewhere in their neglect they’ll have and be happy to charge me. Nope. Their outsourced services Starbucks bar is already closed. Nothing. Absolutely no snack from anywhere I can purchase. My only option is to walk into the homeless ghetto that is McKinney “Street” (it’s actually an Avenue) to 7-Eleven.

Exceptional accommodations await at this wonderful establishment. Boasting a contemporary and stylish ambiance, the venue offers a superb dining experience at its excellent restaurant and bar. The staff members are not only welcoming but also exceptionally kind, ensuring a delightful stay. The heated pool and well-equipped fitness center added to the overall appeal, providing relaxation and fitness options. Every encounter with the staff revealed eagerness to assist, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The presence of charming patios throughout enhances the neighborly feel, making it a truly outstanding place to stay.

Great location for business travel. My room was stylish and comfortable. The staff I interacted with was friendly and helpful. Late night room service was delivered quickly. As usual, half the people at the hotel have status so no room upgrade at check in, but Im used to that by now and its a Marriott issue rather than a property one. No complaints, will be back.

Great staff, nice decor and great location. People are friendly and eager to help. Restaurant is very good, nice menu variety. Brunch on Saturday was excellent and loved the mimosa price. I recommend this place for families

I went here for an event organized by a 3rd party. When I was in the Greatroom Lounge the waitress Karrie came up to my friend and I and asked us what we wanted to drink. We were there for the event and not interested in drinking so we told her we were okay. She goes on to insist there is a $20 minimum to order to be a part of the event. We told her we didn't want a drink. She later came back up to me and was like I'll take your card so I can open up a tab. I really didn't have a choice and had to give her my card. She was very rude, I had no choice, I didn't want to go back and forth with her. Later after the event, I spoke with the event organizer and he said the $20 minimum was only applicable if we needed our parking validated. I did not indeed need my parking validated. He said no that was wrong then, she shouldn't have said we HAD to order because that was not a part of the event. Not only did she make me order drinks, she overcharged me for the drinks. I ordered a $10 drink and a $14 dollar drink, and my total was $34 and some change. She not only over charged me for the drink, she charged me an additional $5 service fee. At this point I asked to speak with the manager Joshua. Joshua said we had to order the drinks and the extra $5 dollar fee was a service charge because "my" party was greater than 6. THIS WAS NOT MY EVENT, IT WAS PLANNED BY A 3RD PARTY WHO HOSTED AND ORGANIZED THE EVENT. The event planner even said that was not a thing we had to order drinks. The manager could care less about the party experience and did even care to look into it, he just brushed me off. For a nice upscale hotel, they scam their guests and behave poorly. I would not recommend going here, this is how they treat their guests.

I went to an event for Dallas Professionals held at this hotel and I could not recommend it more. Our large group utilized their new Brasserie bar Good Graces as well as their restaurant for dinner. We had coordinated the event with the hotel (special thanks to manager Tyler) and they were 100% prepared for us with proper staffing and even with an award-winning Hostess! The drinks at the lobby bar were excellent as was the bar service, the dinners that were ordered came out quickly and looked and tasted amazing. This event is held at several local hotels and the event participants rated the experience here as the highest in the DFW area and I attribute this to the hotel and its staff. Thank you.

We stayed here for a company event. Overall, great service from the time you check in to check out. This hotel is in a great location surrounded by many great nearby restaurants. My room was clean, modern, and well decorated. The food service was decent!
