Text: We booked for 10 nights. Lots of positives. Great A/C in the rooms. A fairly newly built property. Nice quiet neighborhood right near the Katy Trail. Just a 30 minute walk to the Equinox gym in Highland Park- which I believe to be the best Equinox in the chain. Adequately equipped hotel gym on 4th floor. Great and convenient Valet Parking- all great guys. Very good concierge lounge- nice variety in the evenings; much better than the one at the nearby JW Marriott. Lots of great employees- most notable Toni in PBX/Operator. She helped us pre arrival during a couple of calls leading up to the stay. Kelley in Concierge lounge is fantastic, so personable and caring. Tamara, Mary and all the servers and managers in the back restaurant Good Graces- Allison in Executive Offices- so kind. Only issues we experienced were some noise from above as they have no carpeting in the rooms- ended up moving up to the top floor (14th floor) after a few nights and no more noise issues after that. A filthy and stained bath towel at check in that I gave back to them one night that then got returned to me 20 minutes later by a front desk staff member; just a bizarre incident! And a very surly, unfriendly bartender in the lobby lounge that upset me personally while ordering food from her one night for take out- and then also upset my spouse a few nights later with the same surly and rude demeanor; truly appalling.
