Two families traveling together (2 adults, 4 kids-ages 9, 10, 11 & 13) for a staycation during the week. The beach rental flooded, so we headed to north Texas instead. Art in the hotel was amazing. Snuck in a history lesson during summer vacation. Food in restaurants was above average with above average prices as well. Restrooms were extremely clean. Rooms were only serviced for 2+ days stay. Only serviced one time between Tues-Fri. You pay the price for convenience but you could check in and never leave the hotel. Water park was open 10-7. Spa was not open yet, a little disappointing. Customer service was top notch.

Looking at Ctrip's online reviews, I booked a room for two nights. The first impression when I came to the hotel was very good. The waiter at the door was divided into two parts. The service was very professional and enthusiastic. The waiter entered the room and put it in the room. The facilities of the hotel are introduced carefully. It is very warm. The hotel has seven restaurants. We had an American dinner at the hotel that night. The quality of the service and dishes was perfect. The Japanese food at noon the next day was also very exquisite. There are also many surrounding attractions. It is also very convenient. I will definitely stay here next time I come to Dallas. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Booked a king room. When we arrived they said they were overbooked on king rooms and put us in a queen. I called down and let the front office know that I paid more to guarantee a king and they found us one and the room felt newer and nicer. Overall great experience.

I had a nice stay at the Ritz in Dallas. It is an older hotel that was formerly a Four Seasons. They did an extensive renovation recently. My room was spacious. I had a corner king room with a nice balcony. The room wasn’t as clean as I would expect for a Ritz, but wasn’t dirty. The toilet hadn’t been replaced and didn’t work as well as a new one would. Also the sink had a big crack in it. A couple of the power outlets in the room didn’t function. Not what you would expect from a five star property. The star was professional and helpful. The gym is very large and well equipped. All in, I had a nice stay but would not say this property is a 5 star hotel.

I was staying in town to go with my teen daughter to a concert at American Airlines Center. This hotel has easy access on and off the highway. There is a Chick Fil A and a 7 Eleven gas station in front of it, in the same parking lot as the hotel which made for a super easy way to get food and gas before leaving town. The hotel is very clean and smells nice. The doors are locked at 8pm so make sure you have your key. We had no problems with our stay. Room was clean and cold at arrival. All were friendly. A young man helped my daughter to open the door when her hands were full, dropping things even. He picked them off the floor and handed them to her, holding the door for us both. Breakfast smelled good and was promptly served. Hiltons Honors got us snacks and waters and were there waiting for our arrival. I was impressed with the hotel, service, and parking. It is right down from Parkland and a Children's Hospital so it would be a good place to stay if you are in the area for medical needs as well as American Airlines Center events.

This hotel was really cute, had such a great vibe. The front desk guy Jacob was so friendly and really made me feel welcomed, he had a big smile on his face explained parking and how the key works, even told me if I wanted to hold my luggage there with him in the morning that they would be happy to do it so the kids could swim, he also explained to me that the kitchen was open until 10:00 p.m. and we could either order downstairs or even on the rooftop. The rooftop was chill, nice music very laid back, we ended up ordering our food downstairs the bartender was great answered all my questions and very patient. The food was okay I ordered a burger just didn't have very much flavor to it needed a little more seasoning on the burger itself, salad was good and sweet potatos fries were decent. The room itself was super cute lots of space for the kids, love that they had a noise machine because I forgot to bring my fan. The pull out sofa was clean, The only thing I can really complain about was the sink it just did not drain well but overall was a wonderful stay I would definitely recommend.

Great location right off the highway and by college campus/Bush library. We enjoyed the room and design as well as the bar/commons area (unfortunately did not bring swim suits for the indoor pool for the cold rainy day, would have been nice). Was a little weird to not have ice available on the floors and finally figured out we had to just grap qt bags out of the freezer in the lobby (no one mentioned that) but for all the fun aesthetics and location there wasnt much we could complain about (as long as you look around and find the best price as online it was coming up wildly different). Overall would definitely stay again and recommend.

GGuest UserFirst, our experience with this hotel was absolutely horrible. The key system in our door failed multiple times, causing numerous trips to get help to get into our room. Second, the tail lights of our vehicle were stolen over night. The initial manager we worked with was complete unhelpful and refused to help accessing the cameras to give more information to our insurance. Please explain how this happened when they have overnight security that patrols the parking lot?? The manager was dismissive and had the audacity to offer us dinner despite the amount of time and money this ordeal will put us out on. Instead of offering any sort of help he offered dinner. Dinner is offensive in the lieu of actual help and care. Despite all of this, when we spoke with Quin she was amazing. She was understanding, polite, and helped us that best she could. It is ONLY because of our amazing interaction with Quin that this hotel is getting the review we are giving it. Thank you Quin!
PPINGANXQPVery good. Clean and hygienic. The location is convenient. It's right in the city center. It's convenient to do things. It's convenient to live around. It's also close to the light rail and subway. We arrived at 11:30 in the evening. The journey to the hotel was smooth. We will stay there next time.
GGuest UserWe stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites North Dallas at Preston from February 18-20, 2022; Confirmation #24259998. We were in Dallas for our daughter’s graduation from Western Governors University. When we made the reservation, NO mention was made that the hotel was going through a major, MAJOR renovation. Luckily, my profile indicates we prefer a top-floor room, and we were placed on the fourth floor. My daughter and her family had a room on the second floor. The fourth floor had been fully renovated. Contractors were hard at work on the third floor. The first and second floors were yet to be renovated. We were appalled at the conditions on the second floor when we visited our daughter’s room, but when we got to our room on the fourth floor, we were thrilled with the accommodations . . . or so we thought. The trouble began on the first night. At 2AM, the folks next door decided to host a party . . . a very loud party. After a few minutes, we called the front desk. Apparently, no one was stationed at the front desk, because it took forever for someone to answer. (Eventually, the phone stops ringing and you have to re-dial if you really want to speak to someone.) The front desk called up to the room next door, there was a lot of door-slamming and running down the hall, but eventually it was quiet. We got back to sleep. The next morning, I stopped at the front desk and asked if we could be moved. I was told there were no more rooms on the fourth floor like ours, but we could move to the second floor if we so desired. I was given the key to the second-floor room so I could check it out before making a decision. We went to the room and found it dingy and smelly. We decided to remain in the room upstairs. Upon returning the key to the front desk, I was told (by the very pleasant staff member) that the folks next door had been warned about the noise and told that the police would be called if they “did it again”. We went to sleep the second night hoping for the best. Again at 2AM the shouting began. The second night it sounded more like an argument than a party. I called the front desk . . . and called . . . and called. Finally, someone answered the phone! She said she had a note about the folks next door, and she would call the police. She did. Eventually, we got back to sleep. Then the police arrived. Aarrrggghhh! They were quite noisy as well. Upon checking out, I asked the still pleasant young lady at the front desk if we could be compensated in some way for the two miserable nights of sleep we got. She promised 15000 reward points which, she said, should be equivalent to a one-night stay at any IHG Hotel. I accepted her offer and was pleased with her concern. Upon arriving at home, I received a request from Jay Caiafa, Chief Operating Officer for The Americas region of IHG Hotels requesting that I complete a survey. I checked my rewards balance and discovered I had NOT been awarded the promised 15000 poin
We’ve stayed a couple of times here and even though the location isn’t the most appealing, the customer service we received made the stay better. So special shout out to AVI at the front desk for always accommodating our needs for our stays! And the timing manner which it’s done! Great breakfast options as well! Comfy beds. You’ll see!
We were allowed to check in half an hour early which was nice. The rooms are large but are a bit dated. It looked like they tried to renovate at some point. There are foot and shoe prints on the floor that look like a permanent fixture. Our shower had decent pressure, but the toilet was a bit on the low flow side. Our air conditioning system did not work the greatest either. Breakfast was HORRIBLE. Orange juice not working, coffee machine not working, and no waffle batter for the machines. There seemed like there was security at night, we had some drunks knock on our door at 11pm...I'm not sure if I would stay here again, BUT this is a cheap no frills place to stay in the downtown Dallas area.
GGuest UserThe staff was top notch. The rooms were nice. The location downtown and lack of parking was the most frustrating part. The valet made that a bit more convenient but we waited 30 minutes for the valet to bring our car around.
Ddirk411Overall, the price is very high, there is an indoor swimming pool, the water temperature is comfortable, the breakfast type is good in the same level, the yogurt is very good, the traffic is very convenient.
GGuest UserLocation is on sketchy side, got here and they said I didn’t have a reservation and upon further investigation they found that someone else had checked me in at 5:00am but they went up to room and it was clean & ready so maybe an error on someone’s part. Floors are dirty with crumbs and such not sure if they need a new vacuum or just need to vacuum. Bedding & bathroom are clean. Our whole 2nd floor when we step off elevator smells of **** so bad even my kids complained of the “bad” smell. We will check out the breakfast in the mornings overall the appearance of the place seems Mostly clean.

SScottAimeeWhen we first arrived, we were in a second floor room. I asked for a ground floor room because both my friend and I are disabled veterans. No problem, we were given a ground floor room. When we initially went into the room, it was quite hot in there. In an attempt to cool the room down, I found that the controls on the air conditioner turned all the way around, leaving me not really knowing where on the dial did it corollate with the cool setting. While sitting on the bed, I noticed the ceiling and the very evident water damage on the ceiling. There were large areas on the ceiling that showed where large areas were covered by sheetrock or wood, then covered with paint. There were other areas that showed long sections that had water damage that had not been fixed, too. The only amenity was the ice bucket. All in all, the bed was decently comfortable and got a fair night’s sleep, but the pillows were less than useful. The only thing that irritated me was the fact that housekeeping knocked on the door before 1100 am. We were already taking our belongings to the truck and when we tried to get back into the room to get the rest of our belongings, the card key no longer worked! I had to walk from one end of the motel to the other end to get back to the office; they had to reset the key I guess. Walking that distance was very difficult physically for me and I feel that would not have been necessary if the key continued to be effective in unlocking the door. I think next time I will stay somewhere else.
