I made a reservation around Dambulla to rest one more day in Sigiriya, and they let me check in 2 hours early. The staff were really friendly, and the owner of the restaurant next to the pool was really kind. They also provided room service, so I was able to rest well. The hotel was spacious, so it was nice to walk around, but I recommend going to the treetop. It would be really nice to do yoga there. I wanted to go to the pool, but there were too many Westerners, lol. They booked a taxi for me the next morning and packed breakfast for me, so I was grateful. The room was the same as in the picture and was very spacious.

The property is located within a forest and has good ambience and surroundings. But thats it. Probably due to low occupancy, the rooms have damp smell, and it’s suggested to leave doors open for fresh air to get in. They are quite tight with breakfast. We asked for a takeaway as we had an early morning climb to Sirigiya. The takeaway contained one hardboiled egg, croissant, sausage, a piece of cake and two slices of pineapple and a banana. As we finished early we returned to have the typical sri lankan delicacies. However they insisted on an extra charge. It surprised me as the restaurant was literally empty. We never experienced this condition wt other hotels.

L’hôtel est en pleine nature. La chambre est très grande, presque un peu trop grande (pas beaucoup de charme). La propreté de la chambre est OK mais pourrait être améliorée. Le petit déjeuner était excellent. Établissement n’est pas très loin du fameux rocher. Bon rapport qualité prix.

great place to spend your holiday at. it's incredibly green with some amazing bird sightings. the staff was personally taking care of ourselves and the chef was really really good at presentation and taste and customising the order . I'll stay here again if I come here.

We stayed at Amaara Forest for 3 nights at the start of a 7 night tour! The hospitality was fabulous, so attentive and welcoming! Shout out to Freddie and Mr Samanta! We felt we had a really personal service. The food is superb, so tasty and the staff couldn’t have done any more to accommodate every request and personal choice. The rooms are spacious and everything you need is catered for. Lots of wildlife as well! Loved the monkeys! We would definitely recommend Amaara Forest and hope to return one day!!

Definitely 5 star hotel. Feels like you are in the middle of forest.? Birds singing at morning, monkeys are running around. I got massage last night. The guy did such a great job. I fell asleep twice on the table. Hafeel soo helpless and right on the spot. Perfect stay to unwind. And this is not place for Business. Pure Relaxation . So come on and take a deep breather and relax!!

Lovely place with very accommodating and friendly service. The cabin rooms are nice and well kept, we had an excellent dinner by the pool. Great location in a quiet forest with all the historic sites nearby. Sigiriya is great of course, but pro tip if you want a much cheaper and also really interesting ancient experience - go see the 3’rd century BC monastery at Ritigala.

Superb stay with super staff and nice staff very helpful staff.they made our honeymoon as memorable. Can not forget that warmest welcome by reception sataff, also, great view with pool very attentive employees and delicious foods and nice honeymoon decos in room
