Our first stop in Sri Lanka was at Water Garden Sigiriya and our stay was absolutely lovely for many reasons and would highly recommend it. The views are stunning and the setting of the hotel is beautiful, surrounded by peacocks, monkeys and the odd crocodile 😉. The rooms were kept incredibly clean and Pradeep our house keeper was amazing! He always went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and would come to drop off little presents (biscuits, fudge and coconut bites). Our stay would not have been the same without his huge smile and brilliant service. The food and drinks were delicious, our servers were Sampath and Dilshan. Again, always made us feel comfortable and we’re there for anything we needed. The cocktails made by Deepak, were also special and we even took part in an Arrack tasting session. As a whole we had an incredible time here and out of all the hotels we stayed in throughout our trip in Sri Lanka, Water Garden Sigiriya has a special place in our heart. Mainly down to the incredible staff mentioned above who took amazing care of us. Not to forget Nipun our who gave us a warm welcome and was always on hand for any questions we had! We would like to thank Water Garden Sigiriya for hosting Unforgettable Sri Lanka for High Tea. It was truly spectacular and an experience that will stay with us always. Unforgettable Sri Lanka has visited Water Garden Sigiriya on previous occasions and it never disappoints. As soon as you arrive and see Sigiriya Rock, you will be awestruck. The grounds are peaceful and the accommodation is spectacular!

Our stay at Water Gardens was magical! We stayed with our two boys are 8 and 10 and it was a perfect family stay. A really relaxed, peaceful feeling to the place, food was amazing, the kids loved the pool. The staff were so helpful and went out of their way to look after our 2 fussy eaters and make sure there was always something for them to eat. Will definitely stay again next time we visit Sri Lanka

This is the second journey to Water Gardens as we've quite enjoyed the luxury villa with punge pool the first time we visited there. Interior is exquisite and modernized as well as well equipped with all the necessities including all peripherals. Food was great and staff was welcoming. Overall a unique experience we had in a quite while.

Amplia extensión, con bonitos jardines, con animales del entorno, gran piscina y amplias zonas comunes. Habitaciones espaciosas, con decoración correcta. Quizás podría mejorar algo en mantenimiento de baños y otras cosas. Gastronomía cuidada. Servicio profesional y amable. Una inmejorable opción para visitar La Roca del Leon y el PN de Minneriya con sus cientos de elefantes.

Beautiful serene location and immaculatelymaintained proprty. . All the staff were so nice and accomdating and nothing was too much trouble. The standard villas are huge and clean and the pool is amazing to chill out for a few days. My only disappointment was the food. The Sri Lankan food was delicious but anything from the western menu was not great. Trying to be inventive with too many flavours and just didn't get it right. Apposite saw 4 elephants on the road to the and from the property so that was a huge plus!

As a family with two small kids we loved the serene atmosphere and welcoming, thoughtful staff. Food was delicious and the venue with the lush gardens in the middle of the ancient ruins is indeed magical. We will certainly try to come back again.

I went with my family to the Water Gardens Sigirya hotel during the August holidays. We spent two nights at the hotel. You are greeted at the lobby by the General Manager and the front house lady, who is properly groomed. The service at hotel, is excellent. First day of the trip, the food tasted pretty average, but after complaining to head chef, the food was tasty and we had a wider range to choose without having to select from a set menu.
