This is not our first stay at the hotel. This was our 3rd or 4th visit and it is the last for sure due to their poor customer handling and management. I must say that our previous stays were fabulous and i have made positive reviews in TripAdvisor for those. However, this time most of the staff are new to us and not so friendly and caring as the ones who were there earlier starting from the front office. They just don't care, I don't know if its because we are local travellers. On the other hand, the ”amberella” welcome drink is awesome as always. We stayed in a Duplex as there were 4 adults and my 9 month old baby. The rooms were clean and spacious. The living area was giving a calming vibe and had the same look as their other villas we have stayes before. Our baby, husband and I were in the upstair room and when we entered the room is was heated up and the air conditioner was not working properly. It was so uncomfortable so we called the front office and they sent a team to repair. It was taking alot of time so we requested for another room as our baby was feeling tired and needed a nap. Plus, they had adequate rooms vacant and even had Duplex category rooms available too. Still, they refused to shift us to another room so we kept the baby in the ground floor room. The repair took around 2 hours! And then we went to the room and the air conditioner was working. Yet, we were not able to have a nap and relax as we had to go out to Anuradhapura which is the main reason for our visit. So we came back at around 9.30pm and the air conditioner was not working again. Again the same drill, a team came, inspected and told us they need to repair again and it was 11.45pm when they said this. We refused because we were already exhausted as needed to sleep. Also, now, at 11.45 at night they are asking us if we can move to another room (Duplex category). They had vacant Duplex category rooms all this time and in the moddle of the night they are asking us to shift. In my head I was bursting but we were all too tired to keep arguing or leaving the useless place so we stayed in the same Duplex room just till morning. Early morning we left the hotel without breakfast eventhough we had paid for full board. They charged us the whole amount and invoiced for the additional food as well as mini bar (just mentioned this if not someone could think that they must've given a discount or wave-off). So we paid almost 500USD just for one night for this drama. We will never go back to this hotel and not at all recommend. I guess the main issue was poor management of the situation and it shows how poor the hotel management is. We were in Duplex 3 (Kohomba). This hotel staff or management will never care about the customer if something goes wrong and lacks hospitality. Afterall, while we were having our breakfast we got a call from the general manager of the hotel and he apologized but I think it is too late as we have already left their property. Kalundewa retreat is a scenery, calm and adventurous place with nice surrounding.The service is amazing and we had a memorable stay.There were so many activities to do and things to see.If any one needs to have a experience in a rural village enjoying various cultivation crops,this is the first thing we would recommend.Ths staff was amazing and so helpful especially Kanth front office manager since he assist me from the reservation and operational manager,Ushan,Buddika,Anuhas they made our stay beyond our ecpectations.Food was amazing and we really enjoyed it.Thank you all for making our day and feel us so special ❤

不得不説，這家酒店是我在斯里蘭卡住的最好的酒店之一。剛剛開業3年，所以一切都很新。酒店是樹屋的形式，很有特色，但是完全不用擔心安全問題，酒店到處都是cctv，酒店會保證你的安全。酒店私密性很好，一共就十間房間，所以一點也不會感覺擁擠和吵鬧，非常適合度假。泳池也很乾凈，夜景也很漂亮，我會把這裏推薦給任何一位要去斯里蘭卡的朋友，雖然它不是我此行最貴的酒店，但卻是最好的最印象深刻的一家酒店。真的是一家寶藏酒店～希望它生意越來越好^btw 早餐是set menu，很好吃，也很豐富～

I had a wonderful three-night stay at Jetwing Lake as a foreign tourist. I was a little nervous as to what to expect traveling to Sri Lanka as part of the tourist bio-bubble, given the current COVID- related restrictions. However, my concerns quickly dissipated, and I was so happy with my choice to stay at Jetwing Lake. This was the perfect base from which to explore the sites of the Cultural Triangle. The hotel itself is quite beautiful and well maintained. My Super Deluxe room was very spacious, had a beautiful bathroom (and lovely soaking tub), and a lovely patio/deck overlooking the pool and lake. The room was equipped with all the modern comforts. The food at the hotel was delicious and varied. The Sri Lanka fare did not disappoint, including the chicken curry and potato and leek burger. The cheesecake was also a delightful surprise. What set this hotel apart was the service, though. Everyone went out of their way to see to my every need, from learning my dining preferences to greeting me by name. The hotel staff even organized an afternoon cricket session, just for me. It was an incredible experience. I would absolutely stay here again, and I recommend to anyone interested in staying (whether locals or foreign tourists alike). Such a great experience!

This is the best and best hotel to stay in during your stay in Lanka! The entire hotel is in a mango garden, the environment is very beautiful! The hotel is also very clean and the service is in place. The breakfast was very good and the place to eat was great! Overlooking the pool and a large green area, it is simply a beautiful experience. The environment is fragrant, and there are nights at night. The security is also very good. Especially on the second day because of the urgency, my lover put some valuables in the room, our bags are already on the way to Nuvo, and it has been open for 20 minutes. After suddenly thinking about the amount, the DILI driver was very enthusiastic to help the hotel call, the other party sent someone to say that they were still in the room, and then rushed back to the hotel to take it, which was a sigh of relief. Thank you for the hotel! In addition, this hotel room is to be locked with a key, not directly locked to the door, this should be noted. After we checked in, I went to Lion Rock after cleaning up. When my lover locked the door, I brought it directly to the door. When I came back, I opened the door with a single push. Fortunately, nothing was lost. This shows that this hotel is really ok.
