Really nice stay! I think this is the best most modern luxury-like hotel in the area. Food is good, room is clean, staff is really nice

I thought it was a circuit breaker in the room and ignored it. I woke up from the cold at 5:45. I called the room phone to tell the front desk that there was no power in the room, only to find that the phone had no power and the hotel switchboard couldn't be connected. I started to feel that something was wrong. When I opened the door, I couldn't see my fingers. It turned out that the entire hotel had a power outage. I had no choice but to use my mobile phone to turn on the lights and take the emergency exit stairs to go back to the hotel lobby from the parking lot outside the hotel. The parking lot was full of cars, but there were no security guards. When I entered the lobby, I could not see my fingers and there was no one around. I was in the hotel. I shouted loudly and repeatedly in the lobby: "Is there anyone there?", but no one responded. Looking back at the bustling hotel and bright lights when I checked in, I immediately felt a sense of fear: Could something have happened? So he quickly walked back upstairs to his room. We first called 110 to call the police for help. 110 responded that it could not handle the matter and asked us to complain to 12345. So I immediately complained to 12345. Although the call was answered, there was no emergency solution to solve the dilemma at that time. So I contacted Ctrip customer service who booked the hotel. Ctrip customer service contacted the hotel. A waiter came in about 5 minutes and was told that there was a power outage in Shangri-La Town and the hotel was arranging independent power generation. Since we were not sure when the hotel would be powered on (the power outage had lasted for more than 3 hours, and the hotel had no emergency plan), and we were also afraid of staying in a hotel with no one responding, we chose to drive out of the hotel first. At about 6:36, the room There was a power outage and water outage, and the toilets could not be used. We chose to enter the scenic spot first when we were hungry and cold. When I came back around 6pm, the hotel had resumed normal business. When we reported the situation in the early morning to the relevant hotel staff, the other party's reply was speechless, saying that it was a power outage in the town and had nothing to do with the hotel! As an international chain hotel (Howard Johnson), Howard Johnson Aden's management and service are really poor. 1. The municipal power supply was out for several hours, and the hotel had no plan to generate electricity on its own. 2. During the few hours of power outage, no notification (such as phone calls or text messages) was given to guests. There was no on-site hotel attendant or security to provide guidance. Even the hotel room phone was unavailable and the switchboard could not be connected. 3. No follow-up work. The hotel did not proactively provide any reply or explanation to the affected guests. As if nothing happened. This was the first time I called the police because I was shocked while staying in a hotel. Just imagine, you wake up in a hotel and find that the surroundings are dark and suddenly dead silent. No one can be found in the hotel and no one cares about you. How do you feel? One more little thing: around 8 o'clock on the second night, the toilet bowl was blocked. The hotel arranged for a waiter to clear the problem and it was done in a few minutes. The waiter left, leaving a mess on the toilet floor and toilet, with sewage and stains splashing everywhere. Can't believe this is the service from Howard Johnson!
