I am from s.korea. Every morning, the beach is close by, so I started the day by jogging and swimming in the pool. It can be inconvenient because it's a bit far from downtown, but the staff were friendly and I enjoyed my stay.

The pros: The Shuttle driver was very nice, prompt, and personable. We enjoyed the breakfast Buffett each morning. The staff was friendly and enjoyed talking to the guards as they would teach us proper Swahili greetings. Cons: Bedbugs. Not even 14 hours into our stay my wife found and killed a bedbug on the mosquito net at around 5am (see the uploaded pictures) We were petrified! We promptly notified the front desk and were moved to a room on the other side of the floor. That wasn’t far enough in my opinion but we paid for 8 days upfront that was non refundable. On the night before checking out, we’ve received a letter that they would be fumigating. In order to reach this step they must have known it was a problem but ignored it for at over a week. When we checked out the next morning and as of leaving around 2pm we didn’t see any fumigating. After leaving we still have the dread of carrying bedbugs from Jangwani Seabreeze which makes sleeping very difficult and also potentially spreading an infestation and the cost and fallout from that. Going forward we will search recent reviews specifically for bedbugs and if any mention we will avoid that place like the plague.

You didn't seen day time because we are doing fumigation in evening time to avoid inconvenience. So guest day time they can use pool and out sitting. In the night rooms and all compound fumigated, We have every month fumigation done certificate. We look forward to welcome you back in near future with your family and friends.

I would like to compliment the workers at the resort. Unfortunately, they can only do so much without someone in charge. I contacted the resort numerous times by email and phone for airport pickup with no response. The previous person did not leave the safe open, which happened and is easily fixable. All that needed is the master key, but no one showed up for days. Since I was told someone was on the way, I waited in the room and wasted two vacation days. Not wanting to leave my values unsecured I checked out.

Nice place with good rooms. Sweat crew and nice with monkeys coming in the evening We will Absolutly come back! The beach was dirty and not nice to stay on. Pool very nice. Breakfast ok but a lot of birds tried to steal your food. Standard room better than the big ones with balkony.

Best place with full of fun and facilities. Marvelous management and all staff. Fresh and nice meal and choice of drinks nice music train dance kids games pools swimming pool cleaned like crystal enjoyed all

We stayed here multuple times, 3 to 4 times in 2023. I loved my stay there. I spend my new year 2024 with my family for 5 nights Clean rooms, safe parking, clean beach, great breakfast, the best swimming pool in Dar. Lovely my stay. If you are not driving your own car, these tax availability right away.

The hotel is located by the beach area in Dar es Salam. The rooms are very neat and spacious. The breakfast buffet is also very nice. The staff were very very responsive during the booking process and answered all our questions both on email and on WhatsApp.

As a frequent guest at Jangwani I am always satisfied with service. Rooms are spacious and clean, hotel staff always ready to go out of their way to make our stay very comfortable. I recommend it especially for families. And there is everything that one may need, be it the gym for a work out, outdoor pool and a walk to the beach

A nice resort to stay for a weekend. Nice swimming pool and facilities. Hotel room was new with a balcony over looking the swimming pool. Beach, a short walk away, but not very clean unfortunately. A good breakfast setting over looking the beach. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices for both vegetarian and on vegetarians.

The noise is terrible If you’re on holiday to rest this is not the place The rooms is good and clean with airconditioning Free WIFI Breakfast really need some upgrade - not clean if uou dont ho very early there’s nearly nothing left and its really messy Although the staff is very friendly and willing to help

I liked the air conditioning but they need to improve on their meals. Chips are soggy and chicken is hard. They also nee to improve on cleanliness of the beach area.

I have stayed several times and found the hotel good value for money and efficiently run. The rooms are mainly arranged around an attractive inner courtyard with a lovely swimming pool at centre. The rooms are comfortable and cleaned daily. I found the AC rather noisy in one case, but understand that the hotel is already in the process of replacing older units. The breakfast offers a wide range of choice including some local dishes as well, and can adequately serve as brunch. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The courtyard layout is beautiful and staff are very nice. The rooms were clean and modern. Having the ocean so close was pleasant even though I didn't have time for the island excursion. The restaurant is nothing exceptional but it is pretty cheap and the breakfast buffet changes daily. I did have a few issues with my room, ranging from the easily preventable to the bizarre. There was no safe, no bottled water, no laundry bag... and as a woman, the coverings for the ample windows made me nervous. There was a huge gap between the curtains and the wall, which only faced the corner except there was a MIRROR placed right there that allowed anyone walking by to see most of my room from the right angle!! That being said, the hotel was concerned and responsive in addressing these issues which counts for a lot. They covered the mirror and brought me water right away. They said they were working on safes for several rooms, but couldn't move me or install one during my stay. I am hoping this all was an unusual case with that particular room, since my colleague had the same layout without these problems. Also some of the light fixtures/switches are confusing and annoying. Bottom line: I would recommend this hotel but try to book far in advance and inspect carefully upon check-in. Be prepared with back-ups such as a quality luggage lock and buying or boiling enough water for the day (they provide one small bottle).
