Sarah and Maureen were so helpful and understanding when my girlfriend was taken into hospital from the hotel. They are a great asset to the team. Maureen helped with clean bedding and Sarah was understanding when the ambulance arrived and put a not on the system for night shift. I'm very grateful.

Basic, tired but clean. Receptionist friendly but not always there so you have to ring someone, not ideal. No air con and rooms get very warm and can’t have window open as road outside is very busy and noisy. We wouldn’t return due to heat and noise

Dated and tired hotel, no air con and noise and smell of **** from outside. Towels damp, from previous guest or not dried correctly

We only stayed one night but it was good. There was free parking which we needed. It was located near eating places and a supermarket which was helpful.

Very comfortable bed but room very, very hot. Window faced on to busy road so couldn't have it open all night. There is no restaurant on site but is right next to a Toby carvery so was perfect for breakfast. We stayed for a stopover on a long journey so was perfect for that.

Arrived at reception and met by Michelle and Kelly. Probably the friendliest most helpful hotel staff I've met in years. Good banter and made to feel welcome. It's a pity all staff can't be like these two.... The missus has a medical issue and needs a cool room. They don't have aircon here but Kelly came up to the room with us to make sure it had a fan... top marks girls.

Staff amazing & super friendly. Hotel is in a fantastic location and rooms are comfy/clean. Just would like to say a big thank you to Kelly who has been very kind, going above & beyond providing us with recommendations (to eat) within the local area. It’s been a breeze to meet somebody so friendly & will definitely return.
