Darlington East (Morton Park)

Adequate bulk standard Premier Inn, looking slightly in need of a refresh but perfectly functional. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room provided all I needed although I found the pillows a bit hard. The parking fee was expected, but at £7 / 24hrs it seemed excessive - especially as the car park was one of the biggest at a Premier Inn that I have seen and with plenty of spaces. The big let down was the associated Beefeater restaurant - the food was adequate and prepared with all the care and love of MacDonalds at considerably more than the cost. During the week there is a Morrisons open just across the road - just saying.

We`ve stayed here several times when racing at Croft.. Always clean,great service and friendly helpful staff. Large car park( starting to charge for parking soon though).

The hotel is in a nice location for what we needed just outside of the town centre. As ever the room was nice - staff were very friendly throughout the stay. We had breakfast on both mornings - it was spot on - nice coffee great choice of fruit juices and quality cooked breakfast (buffet style) Car parking was ok but they are about to start charging to park there which will be more expense. Noise from other rooms wasn't great and the new style mattresses aren't as nice as the old ones. All in all its a nice hotel - located well for what we needed a bit of work and relax time. Staff were fantastic very helpful and friendly.

Nice friendly hotel . No problem with room. Beefeater was fine especially as I had a voucher to use. Taken star off as now £7 to park which I think is ridiculous considering where the hotel is. Will be using one of the nearby Premier Inns which have free parking from now on.

After checking in I went to our room for a quick shower after a long drive. Got undressed and went to grab a towel to my horror of what can only be described as blood or poo on the towel. I went and complained and a member of staff come to our room and removed the dirty towels. Ruined our stay, didn't feel clean in that room after that.

Have stayed at many premier inns over the years and it is our usual go to when travelling across the UK. The positives: Room was clean and comfortable has we have come to expect and the staff were friendly and professional. The Negative: we regretfully decided to eat at the attached Beefeater Restaurant whilst the food quality was acceptable it was expensive for what was a basic pub meal. What was more concerning was the general cleanliness of the restaurant/bar which was clearly in need of refurbishing, the carpet in particular can only be best described as disgustingly filthy. Stay overnight but dine elsewhere.

Very clean, very nice staff, great car park, good restaurant. Also very convenient location for to Croft Circuit.

We stayed here as a family for one night. The location was ideal and parking was free. The room was large enough for us all but that’s it. The room and the hotel was so hot. There is no air conditioning but the heating seemed to be on maximum all throughout the hotel. We all hardly slept even with the fan they provided in the room it was unbearably warm. It wasn’t a warm day outside either so this wasn’t the cause. The beds weren’t the usual comfy premier inn ones which was disappointing. We paid for breakfast and enjoyed the continental side of it but the food to order wasn’t nice at all. Wouldn’t stay in this hotel again due to the heat and lacking comfort.

The staff are very welcoming, polite, friendly and happy to help. The room was immaculate. A great place to stay. Thank you.
