Had an overnight stay and it was lovely just to sit in the garden with a drink and afternoon tea and chill.The food in the restaurant was very good with a good choice. Highly recommend it.

Stayed over on the 3rd August for an overnight spa experience, as a gift for my partners birthday. Got there, parking was terrible we had to squeeze right at the very back resulting in my partner having to climb over his seat to mine to get out. Checked in, had the executive double, very cramped and dirty especially the bathroom (see photos) WI-FI for TV was terrible had to connect our phones. Spa experience was amazing, treatments was relaxing.. well for myself anyway, my partner came from the treatment room with scratches all his back he said he felt her nails more than her hands. His back was a mess (see photo) wasn’t relaxing for him at all. Dinner was amazing back at the hotel, amazing food & amazing service couldn’t fault it, had a good sleep. ‘Hot’ breakfast was freezing not cold, freezing. Luckily they were more choice than just a hot breakfast as we filled up on croissants & jam for breakfast. Also, still waiting on the £20 deposit back from when we hired towel & robes from the spa.

The room was not up to "standard" stains on the carpet, underneath the bathroom dispensers have not been cleaned, the blinds would not go up, the window wouldn't open. We are vegetarians but unless you can eat veggie burgers etc u r very limited/no healthy options in the restaurant and the soup too peppery to eat

Lovely well run hotel. The staff are excellent. Friendly. And very good at their jobs Quality of the rooms. And the food is top class I think one of the waitress name was Harrison ? Very friendly and great service Good parking. And great location.

This imposing old building is a very short walk onto town . The rooms offer wonderfully comfy beds and luxury bathroom toiletries . Breakfasts offer wholesome cooked fayre and dinners are exceptional.
