The moment we stepped into this beautifully Ancient Chinese theme home, we were greet by a super friendly, attentive and caring Front Desk Agent. Every thing went smoothly from check-in to our last day of our stay. Every morning, we woke up to a well-balanced and tasty breakfast. We were treated with an amazing brewed coffee. On our last day of our stay, we serve tea from a Gaiwan. The bed was freshly made each day, new set of towels and water bottles. We had a full day itinerary, the Agent even offer to help and do our laundry, nicely folded and left in our room. She put a big smile on our face. Excellent stay, strongly recommended.

This newly built hotel is amazing with elegant antique decoration furnitures & equipped with smart facilities. The location is very convenient, within walking distance to the lively ancient city. Beautifully prepared breakfast was served every morning.
The boss & family are super friendly, nice & provided impeccable service. Giving us thoughtful excursion ideas & recommendations which saved us a lot of time & efforts. We highly recommend this hotel without a doubt & would definitely return again in the future.

Wonderful hotel, I recommend it without a doubt, the building is beautiful, it is within walking distance of the old city, beautiful rooms, clean, quiet .... but what makes the difference is the attention of the owners, wonderful people, helped us in everything, provided us with a car for excursions and even prepared a breakfast more adapted to our habit. Our stay at Yunqi Xiangshe was a truly delightful experience. The hotel is newly built, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. From the moment we arrived, the owner welcomed us warmly, making us feel right at home.
The property offers private parking, which is very convenient, and it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the heart of the ancient city—an ideal location for exploring Datong. Each room is thoughtfully decorated, blending modern style with artistic touches that reflect the owner’s care and refined taste.
Each morning, we were treated to a beautifully prepared breakfast, along with complimentary coffee and tea throughout the day. It’s those small, thoughtful details that really elevate the experience.
In short, Yunqi Xiangshe is a perfect combination of comfort, style, and heartfelt hospitality. I would gladly recommend it to all my friends and look forward to returning again in the future

Very satisfied with the hotel. The host and staff are all very friendly and helpful. The room is lovely decorated and clean. Breakfast is delicious. We had a pleasant stay. Highly recommended. 👍👍👍😊😊😊

All members of the staff were very kind and attentionate. The room was nice, even without a window: probably the best sleep we had in a while ! My only issue would be that we were across from the breakfast room so it was a bit noisy as early as 7.30: you can probably ask to change room if it’s your case. But apart from that I highly recommend. It’s a bit out of the nice streets in the old city, but therefore very calm. Good value for money 👍🏻

B&Bs these days are incredibly expensive! Standalone villas, solid wood furniture, and unlimited parking—all in the heart of an ancient city! We stayed at Yunqi for two nights, and the butler service was warm and welcoming, accommodating every request. The room was spacious and clean, with comfortable bedding, a Xiaomi TV, a Haier water heater, a Huida smart toilet, Huida bathroom fixtures, and a Bear water dispenser—none of the amenities were compromised. The breakfast was even more amazing, served by a smiling chef. Each person had a nine-square grid of dishes, which were nutritionally balanced, with optional refills. They also offered milk, coffee, porridge, and the standard Datong sliced noodles (which were every bit as delicious as those at the Treasure Shop outside). Finally, let's talk about location. Our first time in Datong Ancient City, we weren't sure where the various scenic spots were. We only checked on a digital map. We only realized when we got there that the city isn't very large, and anyone with the energy can explore within a two-kilometer radius. Things like Huayan Temple, Shanhua Temple, Fahua Temple, Dai Wang Mansion, the Nine Dragon Wall, the Five Dragon Wall, and so on are all within easy reach. Yunqi Hotel is located at the intersection of Kuixing Tower, one intersection away from Dai Wang Mansion, Fahua Temple, and the Fourth Floor Archway, and two intersections away from the Drum Tower. All sorts of internet-famous check-in spots are all nearby, making it perfectly accessible on foot! I highly recommend Yunqi for making you feel right at home. It's the perfect choice for a visit to Datong Ancient City!

The location of this B&B is fantastic, right in the old town but away from the business district, making it very quiet! The rooms are also very clean and sanitary, on par with a star-rated hotel! The breakfast is clean and hygienic, and I had a very good breakfast. The hostess and the hostess are very welcoming. You can't go wrong with this place when you're in Datong!
