The bedding felt like it hadn't been changed, and there were crumbs on the bed. The room reeked of stale sweat and grease. For just over 100, the room I booked was a far cry from the online photos – it was essentially a basic, unrenovated basement.

Weird room in the basement. Just 4 walls with a bed. Very loud, we hear everyone from the other rooms. There is no shower, not even a shared one.

I usually stay here, as it's conveniently located near my workplace. They now even provide complimentary bottled water, and the owner is very generous. All in all, it's a great experience.
