The Executive Suite offers excellent service and amenities. As one of Datong's first luxury hotels, the attention to detail in their service is outstanding. The pool and gym are complimentary, and the location is very convenient with plenty of local restaurants nearby for dining, offering an endless array of delicious food. The hotel breakfast is also very rich and varied.

This was my second stay at this hotel. The location is great, and although it's an older property, the layout is quite well-designed. The service is attentive and friendly. Overall, the room's cleanliness was good, but I did find long hairs on the carpet, sofa, and in the bathroom. While these might be hard to completely remove, it does leave a poor impression on new guests. Rooms on the north side, due to lack of sunlight, can have a slight odor, and when I first checked in, the toilet had an unpleasant smell. I'd suggest regular odor treatment for these areas. As it was Chinese New Year, the lobby and rooms were nicely decorated with a festive atmosphere.

The room was spacious, and the location was very convenient for getting around. The decor is a bit dated, and the pool is quite small, really only suitable for kids. However, the breakfast was excellent, with a great variety and delicious food. Overall, it's good value for money.
