As a luxury hotel enthusiast, I'm absolutely blown away by this randomly chosen B&B – I really nailed it, haha! This is hands down the best B&B in Datong Ancient City! The location is absolutely fantastic, within walking distance to Huayan Temple and Gulou East Street, and you step right out onto bluestone paths and under red lanterns. Hygiene is top-notch, the bedding is soft, and it's well soundproofed. The housekeeper sent a super detailed guide in advance, covering everything from dining to accommodation and transportation, and even offered free pick-up and drop-off from the station. The traditional courtyard design is charming and full of Zen, and both the rooms and public areas are wonderfully designed – it's so comfortable you won't want to leave. For just over 500 RMB, what more could you ask for? If you're coming to Datong, just book this place without hesitation! Choosing to visit Datong during the off-season was perfect: amazing weather, uncrowded attractions, tons of great food, and this fantastic B&B. I absolutely love Datong!

Traveling to Datong during the off-season was such a great idea! Can you believe I booked this room for just 98 yuan? This Yanda Hotel is incredibly good value for money. It's located near the ancient city, making it really convenient to get around. The front desk staff even gave us a free upgrade from our original family room. The mattress was so soft and comfortable, I slept wonderfully. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Datong.

It’s really really nice room, it’s really clean, and even there’s no windows in our room but we didn’t care much because it was very comfortable. Thank you to the girls at the front desk who were so helpful and kind! They were very accommodating. This was one of the most value-for-money hotels we’ve stayed in. Location is great too.
