Convenient location, and nice oceanfront room.
Upon request, hotel had our room ready early to check in. But at the desk, receptionist said that early arrival was a $25 fee. Then, there was a $16 parking fee, which was not mentioned on our confirmation email from them. Lastly, the hallway rugs looked old and the glass doors in hallways were dirty.

The hotel was alright, wasn’t really what I expected , but it served its purpose . The ocean view was nice.

The staff was rude and impolite.
There is a daily parking fee.
You don't get the same room what you see in the pictures and upon request they simply say the hotel is completely in the middle of the week and you can clearly notice from the ocean that most of the floors are available.
The room service is only available alternate days even if requested.
The breakfast provided was decent.

Loved that it's got beach access and the breakfast buffet was decent. When we checked into our room the floor had some kind of gross spots on the carpet, but was clean other than that. Only complaint is that they refused to give us a second parking pass and they make you pay for parking (and the parking lot can be pretty difficult to get in or out of if there are ANY trucks parked in the back or side lots).

Watch for price gouging!!!! Asked about late checkout and said to come back in am…in the am they said they charge $25/hour… paid for 1 hour and we were a little late leaving … the cleaning lady bangs on the doors trying to see who is still in the room, and they charge you another $25… she wasn’t cleaning the room, just seeing who they could gouge… crappy property, dirty lobby … even for a Hampton Inn, terrible… lots of better places in Daytona Shores…

Bed wasn't very comfortable. Floors in halls were wet, with a bad knee, I was concerned I could slip and fall.
