Comfort Inn & Suites Syracuse-Carrier Circle

The hotel is not far from the high-speed exit, clean and convenient, the rooms are large and quiet, there is a McDonald’s next to the hotel, those who return late do not have to worry about going out to find something to eat, it is recommended
Days Inn by Wyndham Syracuse

The location and price for great the receptionist was even helpful when we had trouble with the key cards. However, there is absolutely no hygiene in that hotel the hallway smelled like sewer, and there were dead flies, just laying on the windowsill of the hallway window. The doors had looked as if someone had broken into them before dents on the locks. When you actually get inside the room, you were in into more problems in terms of the sink, being rusted with paint chipping off and in the bathroom, the shower had yellow stains and hairs all over it, despite the room having been cleaned. The room had like 4 outlets and only 2 of them worked. The bed was fine just had some minor stains on the bed head. Overall if cleanliness is important to you. I do not recommend this hotel.
Red Roof Inn Syracuse

We chose this hotel because most places were just too expensive for visiting the NY State Fair and we stayed at Red Roof Inn before. The drawbacks: Rooms need renovation-ceiling in our room was falling apart. Second: Housekeeping needs improvement. You have to coordinate things so the room gets cleaned. If not you are out of luck. And if you are not ready you ”inconvenience” them. I was told this and to me this was inappropriate. On the plus side it is in a great location but Carrier Circle is difficult to maneuver. You have to pay close attention to the signs. Would I stay here again? Not for awhile.
Americas Best Value Inn East Syracuse

Running out of acceptable places to stay - the more convenient establishment up the road was $120 per nite, I knew that place was becoming an increasingly bad place to stay from my last trip through the area, so $50something per nite seemed more reasonable, just needed a place to sleep. They have done some improvements, it appeared as tho there was new carpeting, some bathroom renovations since the last time i was there, however the cleaning staff needs to put their glasses on, or something, because it just isn’t clean, had to fight with the remote to get the TV turned on so i didn’t have to hear the neighbors on either side, That window seat had stains of unknown origin, and, i always bring my own sheet to sleep between, i know how clean mine are, theirs have seen way better days. They say no smoking but that certainly occurs there, and it isn’t just tobacco. It was good enough coffee so i didn’t require stopping somewhere else, would not even look for “breakfast” there, and it is a quick jump to the thruway from the establishment.
