The facilities and environment are simple and poor, and there are no people around except for check-in services. It’s really hard to find a hotel in this location. If you can’t afford it, don’t stay here.

Well no TV, water was either piping hot or stone cold in the shower, not sure but the place looked like it had some , flooding issues, plug in bedroom not working, beds were comfy though!!

This was beyond disappointing. We made a trip to Death Valley for the sole purpose of staying at this place to do th3”e tour. However, despite my friend emailing 3 days before arrival and the fact that it states tours available the lobby they replied the morning of our arrival to say tours ate cancelled until further notice e because of the heat. We asked first thing in the morning if we could peak our heads in to the opera house but was told but a pretty grumpy employee that it was impossible. She said it was due to the heat then stated it was because of staff shortages and that she needed to be on reception despite the fact she had in fact been gone for half an hour leaving the place unattended. We’re really angry about this whole thing because we essentially wasted a day. The place is in disrepair and because of flooding smells pretty awful. Go stay in Betty 40minutes away for a better time,

Enduit extérieur décrépit, odeur fort désagréable à l'accueil, chambre poussiéreuse plinthes sales, salle de bain hors d'âge : carreaux cassés au sol, faïence décollée, enduit des murs fissuré et décollé même manquant par endroit. Eau chaude après avoir laissé coulé 1/4 d'heure. Literie de mauvaise qualité. Climatisation hors d'âge hyper bruyante. En guise d'accueil on vous explique que le bâtiment a été conservé dans son jus !!! Ça c'est se moquer du monde !!! Le prix n'est en aucun cas justifié, c'est de l'abus. Seul point positif draps et serviettes propres. Nous sommes restés car fatigués d'avoir beaucoup roulé toute la journée et qu'il n'y avait aucune possibilité d'hébergement à proximité. Dommage car le bâtiment dans son ensemble avait un certain cachet mais manquait sérieusement d'entretien et même de rénovation. Et cela peut être réalisé en conservant le style du bâtiment.

Terrible smell. Plumbing barely worked. Doors didn’t lock. Tiles in bathroom coming up. Restaurant only open 3 days a week. Staff were very nice though. Place has potential if cleaned up, and redone properly.
