Hotels near Eglise Saint Augustin, Deauville

Hotel Le Chantilly is an old hotel situated near the racecourse and town centre. Parking at side street was free. A warm welcome on arrival ,would be a struggle if mobility issues as stairs only. Rooms Room was basic but clean. Shower/bath was very difficult as old fashioned sit down bath. Breakfast in the morning was ok not a great deal of choice but enough to see you through the morning.

Very satisfied with the newly opened hotel. Next to the sea, if you are driving by yourself, there are parking lots at the hotel and next to it. Because I went there in winter, there are not many tourists, the experience is very good, but if it is summer, it is estimated that there will be a lot of people. The hotel breakfast is on the 5th floor and the quality is very good. There are also many restaurants in the surrounding area. After all, it is winter and few are open, but if there is a chance, I will stay again.

En dehors des chambres très modernes et bien conçues (on sent la touche ”architecte” dans chaque detail), de veritables espaces de vie vont sont proposés dans les parties communes de l hôtel : espace pour pouvoir vous réchauffer un plat et frigo si vous en avez marre des resto en ville , salle de jeu et de musique, espaces pour travailler, Salle de sport et même une salle de cinéma. Petit déjeuner très qualitatif (la majeure partie des gâteaux, crêpes sont faits maison, en attestent les odeurs que vous sentez des 23h la veille en passant devant l accueil), jus de fruit et Yahourts de qualité, pain et viennoiseries de boulanger et non du surgelé réchauffé. Les prestations sont très nettement supérieures à ce qui se fait même dans certains grands groupes hôteliers. Découvert par hasard car plus de place dans un autre hotel que nous convoitions. Let’s start with the positives…the rooms were well appointed. The hotel has a nice décor. The location is superb. There is an excellent convenience store/corner in the lobby with drinks, snacks and other amenities. The in-room amenities were very good. The lack of a dedicated drop-off/pick-up zone could be problematic if you aren’t lucky enough to find an open parking spot in front of the hotel. Our biggest disappointment was the very poorly designed and constructed stairs to the second floor of the family duplex room that we booked. The “stair tread” was far too shallow and the anti-slip stickers are not close enough to the edge to be fully functional. The problem with this room is that the showers are upstairs and there are two beds downstairs. So, there’s a lot of traffic going up and down. I fell one day so hard that I had three 20cm bruises on my back torso. I’m lucky that I didn’t do damage to my internal organs or break a rib. They were the worst bruises I’ve had in my adult life. The following day, my ten year-old daughter also slipped on these stairs and hurt herself. Every country and local jurisdiction has its own standards, but these stairs are really quite dangerous. Good luck trying to bring suitcases upstairs. We left ours downstairs and that severely limited the usefulness of that space. I reported the stair issue and while they listened empathetically and said they'd make a report, they didn't offer any type of effort to ease the pain, such as sending flowers, chocolates, or some other nice gesture. A better hotel would have done more than just ”make a report.” I would stay at this hotel again, but never in a Duplex Room.

Excellent breakfast buffet with a large selection of sweet and salty food. Location is great within walking distance to everything. The rooms cleanliness is doubtful. There's no separate bathroom which is really strange. The shower is in the hallway of the room. There's a sliding door that separates the room from the toilet but it's difficult to close and doesn't isolate any sound or light. Not good at all if you're traveling with friends or family. Never seen any room like this before. Poor design.

Welcomed by a lovely lady whose English was better than my French. Easy check in and room was clean and well laid out. Room cleaned every day and fresh towels supplied If you are on a budget this is the place and add to that secure parking, we rode down on Harleys so secure parking is a must, it was a great hotel. Right next door to McDonalds and Buffalo Grill so easy to get fed and watered Close by os petrol stations

What a good welcome to this gentle lady who cooks, you receive and gives you the desire to stay longer to discover this wonderful place that is Normandy. I strongly recommend with the idea of come to spend a good time because it's the essential and to leave the mini details that we see on the opinions of certain who breaks you the magic of those who put in 4 for you. Switch good moments to 2 or more to share the location where a swimming pool is in project on this beautiful shadowed park. Soon to see Fabienne Fillion you love your region and this is seen through your art. 🙏

Stayed here last week and couldn't fault it. The hotel was spotless and the staff were very friendly. Yes the rooms are small but they are set up very well so more than serve their purpose. We were a family of six so we had two rooms. In one of the rooms the air conditioning vent hatch fell open, we informed the staff who were very apologetic. Sometimes things like this happen, the fact that we felt listened too and acknowledged was more than enough, 5 stars for this hotel!!! The hotel is right in the town, which is beautiful, We hope to visit Honfleur again and if we do I will book us into this hotel again. Thank you to all the staff.

Arrived very late. Were happy the reception is open 24/7. We had prepaid the room but the reseptionist was sure we had not. His mistake was corrected by his colleague the next day and double payment was cancelled. When entered the room noticed that one of the electric curtains got stuck to half way of the window. Wanted to change room because it was not possible to get it dark. And people could see in. Not possible. Neither could they fix the problem during our stay. The room was booked for two persons and it was a superior room. The kitchen utensils were for one person only. In the room there was a writing desk and a table but the amount of chairs was only one. In the bathroom the towels were also for one person but we found some thinner extras from the closet. We cannot recommend the breakfast. It was basic and ok, but food was merely finished and waiting time for more was long. Also the venue has nothing special to offer. It was just a hall. Stayed 2 nights. Staff was friendly but still learning.

On the edges of the main road to Le Havre (less than 5 minutes by car), modern motel, spacious and clean rooms (for the hotel category). Excellent price. Cute service, parking available. Recommended
