Hotels near T.J. Maxx, Dedham

Oct2022: 3⭐: I selected this hotel as a result of needing a place close to the house with easy access to the airport. I selected this hotel through the Bonvoy app based on it fitting the criteria I desired. I wasn't able to get to the hotel until the afternoon hours about 1700. I picked up my spouse from the airport and we decided to get her checked in at the hotel on the way to the hospital down the toll road. I noted that the hotel was difficult to enter and it took a bit of concentration to locate the front entrance of the hotel as it sits over top of the tollway 90. There were two handicapped parking areas available at the check in lot. There is a pay parking garage attached to the hotel and adjacent to the front entrance into the hotel. The parking garage has more handicapped parking areas available and regular parking as well. The areas are not good for large trucks or RVs. The entrance was located and I parked and we went into the hotel. We walked to the front desk and a female worker didn't greet us, didn't say hello, nor did she say welcome to the hotel. The worker said ”give me your id”. My wife was standing there to my side and I looked to see if there was someone else there we had stepped in front of or cut in line. There was no one there but us. My wife said what did she say? Is this the check in desk? I commented that this is the check in window, right? What happened to the smile, good afternoon, welcome to Sheraton, or just hello. DEMANDING my identification upon entering the building was definitely not appropriate. Having a bad day isn't MY fault. I have a choice to choose this location, not the other way around. We finished the check in at the desk, paid for parking, and we went to the room. We dropped off the bags and found that the bathroom door sags and does not properly close as it's hitting the bottom of the frame. One of the window blinds wasn't properly functional. The noise canceling device and the traffic was something to tolerate. Some vehicle drivers passing under the hotel on the tollway, enjoyed throttling the engine. This added noise to an already bad situation. Decent area food spots are walking distance from the hotel.

When I arrived to this hotel for my one night stay, I was warmly greeted by Cloe. 10 minutes before my arrival, I called the hotel and Cloe professionally answered the phone and gave me all the details about my stay. During the check in process, Cloe was very delightful, professional and very friendly. Also Irlene at the front desk was very friendly. It is a pleasure to go to a hotel and feel welcomed and being exposed to people who really care about guests and the hotel. Cloe is a great asset to that property. Great job!

Normally I don't write reviews but I feel compelled to write a review about my family 1 night stay at Best Western Waltham 9/23. First and far most the price of the hotel was great (A+) compared to others in the area. Great customer service, check in and out was quick. The front of the hotel and inside the lobby area was clean and modern. The easy access to the pool was great but it should be more private. The last thing I need is people watching me while I take a dip. Similar to other reviews, the room itself was dated and in great need of some TLC. There were 2 full size bed with clean linen. The mattress and the blanket could have been softer, but that's just me comparing other hotel bed to this 1. I guess you get what you pay for. The carpet is in great need of shampooing/deep cleaning there were stains all over the carpet. The moisture/mold issue in the bathroom should be address along with new shower fixtures/shower curtain. You shouldn't need written instructions to tell you how to turn on the shower. I'm glad the hotel offered breakfast even though it was ok (B-). Overall our stay was ok . Would I stay again I doubt it. However, if you're tight on budget and you don't care about the issues mentioned above then this is the hotel for you. I'm not recommending this particular Best Western.

The hotel is strategically located, opposite naitick mail, there is Macy's Department Store, there is food court on the second floor, there is Chilefang and pizza, there is a supermarket Aldi not far away, I am very convenient to buy fruit, and the elevated road to Boston is also very close.

After a really long day of travel I got to the hotel and was greeted by Breanna at the front desk. She gave me what I can call the initial hotel greeting, asking about day, flight and the rest. She was very polite and courteous and had a smile the whole time. I go to my room and kinda settle in then decide to grab some food nearby. When I came back a couple hours later, Breanna saw me and was all smiles and very welcoming even remembering my name. Probably the best greeting I have had in a long time. Hotel is beautiful and comfortable. Will be using it again when I am in town. Thank you

My wife and I stayed for four nights, as we used this centralized location to tour the surrounding environs of Boston, Plymouth, Quincy, and Cohasset. We had no trouble with check-in, or with our room. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities. We particularly liked that the bathroom sink was outside the bathroom which saved morning time for both of us. Only downside was the free breakfast; the entrees were basic stock items lacking taste and overall appeal; breakfast sausage patty was like a leather shoe. The coffee & tea setups were good. We found a great local breakfast/lunch eatery in Newcomb Farms less than four miles away. We'd stay again for the location and comfort, as we didn't come here to dine.

The hotel room is very clean, the sheets and pillows are white and white; the breakfast is very rich, you can make waffles yourself, super blueberry flavor, original flavor, and cinnamon apples. The hotel is very cost-effective, I booked it in Ctrip, a very successful choice, I have the opportunity to choose this hotel. I don't know why I can't upload photos.

Unfortunately, this hotel is not up to Marriott standards. Yes, the lobby looks refreshed which is probably true but the rooms have not been changed in 20 years. The tub in the bathroom is disgusting. The overall look and feel of the room is dated and tired there are scrapes on the dressers and Wallpaper peeling it's just a hot mess. To the point where I went out and purchased slippers so I didn't have to walk on the carpet. I was kind enough not to request service every day being there for a week but when I asked for service it wasn't done. And when I went to the front desk to ask, they looked at me like I had six heads. The front desk people don't seem to have any hospitality in them at all nor do they clean the room cleaning people. It's such a sad state of a hotel I wouldn't side my worst enemy there after spending a week run don't walk away from here. There is a new hotel on route nine call the aloft, I would recommend you stay there over staying here. There's also a new residence inn in Natick, which would be a better choice.

The room was my favorite by far. I loved the pool area. Hot tub was exactly what I needed. I will definitely be a repeat Customer
