This is not a wonderful hotel room! This is an unforgettable experience. You are floating above one of Tibet‘s most sacred places. Forever in my Heart! The owner is super nice and helpful! The best are these wonderful young girls at the reception that took such good care of me! They added up a lot to the experience! Thank you so much! You are the best!

Incredible view - but even more importantly: such an adorable team! One of my very favorite hotels in all Sichuan, period!

Fantastic view - clean well designed room and comfortable beds

The location couldn't be better! It's directly opposite the Derge Printing Press, offering incredible views of the sunrise and sunset over the building. From here, you can also witness pilgrims performing prostrations in the morning light and observe people spinning prayer wheels as night falls. The street leading into the main town area is quite a steep incline, flanked by a variety of exquisite Buddhist artifact shops. All the town's dining options and cafes are within easy walking distance. There's even a nearby Nepali restaurant that serves exceptionally good hand-eaten rice dishes. The hotel's breakfast was quite basic, but it came with lovely views. We chose instead to venture out and try some local specialties. Parking is available in an underground garage, though spaces can occasionally be tight. Fortunately, the front desk staff are usually very helpful in finding a solution. Derge is a truly delightful and surprising small town, remarkably peaceful and steeped in devotion.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, directly opposite Dege Parkhang, offering views right from the room. Parking in the lot diagonally across the street is convenient, though spaces can be a bit tight. The room itself felt a bit cramped, and unfortunately, the cleanliness was quite poor. A quick wipe with a wet tissue revealed a noticeable layer of dust, indicating a clear need for better housekeeping. Additionally, the toilet isn't a smart bidet type, and the pillows were too soft for my personal comfort.

The location is unbeatable, directly facing the scripture printing house. Enjoying a ******* breakfast on the balcony in the morning with that view was incredibly relaxing. Parking wasn't very convenient, mainly due to the road construction right outside the entrance.

The accommodations were excellent, and the hotel's location is fantastic! The owner was incredibly kind; even though I arrived quite late, he went out of his way to help me find a parking spot. There are plenty of dining options nearby. You can see Dege Parkhang directly from the window. Highly recommended!

I loved Dege, and the Minshan Hiker Mukexin Wangqinda Hotel was simply wonderful. Its location is absolutely superb: right across from the Dege Printing Monastery. The rooms are beautiful, the facilities are excellent, and the rooftop terrace is perfect for enjoying the views with a cup of tea. Angweng Qingsuo at the front desk was incredibly warm and hospitable, and she even became a good friend during my time in Dege.

The hotel is situated directly across from the Dege Printing Monastery, making it incredibly convenient. It also offers a dedicated parking lot. As a family of four, one room wasn't quite spacious enough, so we booked two. Both were rooms with stunning views. The owner was exceptionally hospitable, assisting us with our luggage and even presenting our children with small mementos upon our departure! A minor suggestion: it would be great if breakfast could start half an hour earlier. This would allow us to finish eating and be among the first to enter the Dege Printing Monastery.

Enjoying breakfast in the hotel's open-air garden, with stunning views of the Printing House in the morning, was a delightful experience. The hotel's service was also excellent; a kind staff member even helped carry my luggage to my room. For breakfast, they personally prepared authentic ******* tsampa, which was quite delicious. After breakfast, the terrace garden offers wonderful photo opportunities. Both the owner and the friendly staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. This is a highly recommended hotel.

A truly satisfying stay with excellent value for money. The staff, especially a friendly lady, was incredibly welcoming and helpful, even assisting us in finding a parking spot. When we encountered an issue with our room, they promptly upgraded us. Our room was spotlessly clean. The location is fantastic, directly opposite the Dege Parkhang (Printing House), making it super convenient for visits. Breakfast was also delicious. The only slight drawback was the transparent bathroom door, which lacked a bit of privacy. I hope they continue to improve!

Located right across from the Scripture Printing Monastery, the hotel boasts large, floor-to-ceiling windows that offer a fantastic view. The owner is incredibly friendly and hospitable, and the young lady at the front desk was very eager to help with our bags. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit. This is probably the best value guesthouse in this small town.
