1930's Art Deco Villa

Location: Burrowed in a quiet part of Dalanwala, this property was built in the 1930s as an aristocratic residence. Since then, it has undergone many changes and has been restored to include modern conveniences, keeping in mind its periodic character. The furniture has been restored and still adorns the rooms of the villa. The original floors of fine mosaic or glazed ceramic tiles have been painstakingly preserved wherever possible. Despite the renovations, its essence remains; you are immediately transported to the thirties; when the Art Deco movement raved and revolutionized the art and architecture.

Property Facilities: It has three bedrooms, a comfortable drawing room, and a sitting room with a television, a dining room, a kitchen, a verandah, and a sit out. When you enter through the gate, you may be greeted by the Tiger, the hosts Himalayan Shepherd who will keep you company. If you are in the Garhwal to do a bit of exploring, forget the boring hotels and spend some days relaxing in the Art Deco Villa, enjoying the staffs warm hospitality.

Good to Know: For your tired drivers, there is also a staff cottage, which can be used at a nominal rate.
