Hi, I am an auditor, I started to travel to Delano more frequently now. I have chosen to stay in this hotel for a night that I was working close by. It was late when I did the booking on 08/21/2024 around 10 pm. I was probably super tired and did not check the dates correctly. I did not notice this error until the next day when I arrived at the hotel. I presented myself and I asked the front desk lady to check on my reservation. She says she does not any reservation with that name. I asked her to check again, she says she can't find it. I looked at my phone and I see the date of the booking was for 08/21/2024 and today is 08/22/2024. I ask her to check that it is clearly a mistake since I did not stay last night. She says "Sorry, I can't do anything. We logged as no show, so We can't issue a refund or change the night... but quickly says do you want to book tonight?" I think the last sentence is what trigger my frustration. It sounded like she wanted me to book for another night. First of all, this is not the first time I travel or book hotels. All of them check with you when the guest does not arrive around 10 or 11 pm. This hotel did not check with me. So disappointed that you do not treat guest respectfully. Of course, I did not book another night with them, and I will never do and I come to Delano very often, so good luck.
