Overall this is a good hotel that I continue to come to when visiting family in Philadelphia. The staff is phenomenal, the hotel is generally very clean upon check-in and it's pretty convenient to most parts of the city. My biggest issue every time I stay is housekeeping. Although I take my tag off the door, I leave it at a good time , and see them on the floor, my room is never cleaned unless I actually stop at the front desk and request on my way out. He started leaving cards under your door to let you know they stop by unfortunately they slip the card under your door after you've already left your room. So essentially I leave the room no one has come by my tags off the door and when I come back as a card under my door. They did this twice during my last day and I had to complain at the front desk. I have stayed there for longer than five days and still only have my room clean one time and that was of course on request. Although the hotel has returned to normal operations this is what is lacking. Again the front desk staff are great, my check in the room is usually clean, and when I request things I've gotten them pretty quickly. I will continue to stay when I am in Philadelphia but I wish they would do something about housekeeping..

Very nice hotel. King room was spacious and clean. The room had a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. AC not too loud. Bed and pillows were comfortable. I would give it 5 stars but for a couple of ridiculous issues. 1: there were no cups in the bathroom or with the ice bucket. 2. The sliding shower doors only opened from one end so you had to stand fully in the shower to turn on the taps resulting in being fully deluged in ice cold water until warm water reached the room. 3. I was charged with a small fee for “parking lot maintenance” that was never explained or approved to be added to my credit card. When I called about it, the hotel refunded that fee, but I thought it was quite underhanded to not inform me before charging it.

This was the last night of our 8 night road trip around Philadelphia and Washington. I must say this was the best hotel of our whole trip. It was very clean, modern and comfortably large. Wi-fi was great. Lots of choice on the TV and AC good. There is just one thing that let this room down - the lack of a bathroom door!? I don't know why this was the case - but a 'curtain' for a door is not ideal. And it seemed like a permanent thing too, not just that the door had been ripped off. Luckily I was staying with my husband, but if it had been two work colleagues staying together, I don't know if I would have liked that? Just a bit weird. Other than that the stay was excellent. The location was great for the nearby train stations and it was a short walk to the local restaurants. I would definitely stay here again. Excellent value for money and it puts some of the other (more expensive) hotels we stayed in on our trip to shame.

Very clean room. Parking and laundry are convenient. There is a supermarket and restaurant at the door. Shuttle to and from the airport is 10 minutes away. The driver is very friendly and will help deliver it directly to the car rental company, so that people with a lot of luggage can save themselves the trouble of a second trip.

The heater was loud while it was running every time it came on.we were watching TV you could hear our neighbors like they were in bed with us you could hear every word. I said something to the front desk 4 to 5 times even the next morning that went on till 3 to 4 in the morning. Then we woke up to a dripping sound and the ceiling was leaking I said something to the front desk they said it was nothing they could do while it was raining. Do we at brunch that was 90..00 not worth it came back to the room ceiling still leaking and u can hear our neighbors talking and the loud heater we tried to relax and watch TV but from the loud heater and the dripping noise we couldn't take it wasn't staying another night we left at 3 or 4 pm room 430

I am a solo female traveler and was in town for a concert. This property was absolutely flawless! It is soooo close too all the concert venues. Checkin was easy. Everything was very clean and we’ll appointed. The desk agent was an absolute gem! He was very helpful and kind.

GGuest UserGood option in beautiful Brandywine Valley. Longwood Gardens is a short drive as are the DuPont mansions in Delaware and Brandywine Museum of Art. We have stayed in bed and breakfasts in this area, but we’re accompanied this time by our adult daughter (so B&B not an option). Arrived late, and waited 5 minutes or so for the front door to be unlocked (understandable). Front desk wasn’t friendly but was efficient. Room was very clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good, standard fare for these type hotels. Convenient location. Lots of restaurant choices (Chadds Ford Tavern is the best). Only issue was a stopped up sink. We alerted the morning front desk lady, who wrote it down and said they would take a look that day. That evening, no fix and so mentioned to the evening desk gentlemen, who “looked” and said there was no such note, but would look into it the next day. I could go on, but bottom line, the sink was never fixed. A process breakdown. Not the worst thing that could happen on a trip. Had a small issue with billing after the trip, and the gentlemen on the phone for Home2 Suites was incredibly friendly and helpful. Would probably try again.

I was never supplied (either by email or by text) with the code to get through the the front door and to then access my room. That's bizarre.
There was no small complimentary tube of toothpaste.
The AirCo was set to ”Eco”: which meant that it cycled on-and-on and off thoughout the night with a loud rumbling each time. The AirCo is supposed to be ”white noise” in the background - runnnig constantly in the background.
The breakfast was amateurish.

GGuest UserFor us the location was great! The rooms were clean and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Service, for the most part, was very good, with the only exception being the gentleman who manned the front desk on arrival. Not friendly at all. It felt like we were an interruption. Breakfast was your standard fair. Scrambled, powdered eggs and sausage or bacon, and make your own waffles. Coffee, juice choices, bagels, and packaged sweets. It was good and it does make for a fast and convenient meal.
The WIFI on our floor was horrible! In this day in age, this is unacceptable! I ended up using the computer by the breakfast area to set up our outgoing flight!
The building is becoming dated but, there was construction going on so perhaps they are updating. The bathroom did not have a fan or any towel racks. Unfortunately, it appears that people have been using the shower curtain rod as it is tilted downward and you really need to make adjustments to avoid a wet floor. There are no handles for the physically impaired. Getting in and out of this slippery bathtub is difficult. Our toilet tank had a leak and frequently had to reload water. Finally, the HVAV is good and it is also loud. But if you have traveled a lot, this is fairly common.
An extra note. We decided that we really didn't need a rental and would use Lyft/Uber. It worked well but there is rarely a car nearby. We made sure we allowed time to get picked.
Because of its location and that it was typical of a hotel of this ranking, I would stay there again.

GGuest UserWe were assigned this hotel by American Airlines after being stranded for a night. The janky van that picked us up should have been our first sign to decline the stay. Checking in, I looked up and saw the crumbling ceiling and light full of bugs. But we accepted our room...at first. Once in the room, there was zero toilet paper and the stains were plentiful (see photos). I returned to the desk to ask about toilet paper and was offered a different room. We took it, and the pictures of stains and gross things (like a booger smeared on the wall) just increased. I slept on top of the cover with my clothes on and we left as soon as we woke up. Do not stay at this property. Also note, there are no food options within walking distance of this hotel.

I can only say that the Roku and apple play was never achieved and was nice but didn’t work and spent a lot of time trying to get it to work so it hampered my work presentation. I also love the area and being along the waterfront and wanted to know if the facilities weee available to rent on the side.
