Bombina Cottages

This is such a lovely place. We will definitely be back for more visits. The cottage we stayed in is gorgeous and very comfortable. Perhaps the best bed I’ve slept in while travelling! The wildlife is so rich and beautiful. We had kangaroos, 28s (ring necked parrots), doves, and multiple types of wrens join us on the veranda each morning and evening. Well the Roos bounded by in front of the verandah but always stopped in front to munch away. The cottage has all the facilities you need and extra little added touches that made our stay a memorable experience.

This was the third time I had returned to Bombina and I was not disappointed. Forest Cottage is a peaceful, wildlife haven with a great view. Deb is a great host who responds promptly to any messages.The cottage itself is very clean and well-supplied. It was quite cold when I visited but Deb had laid a fire in the stove which soon warmed up the cottage. If you like peace and quiet coupled with nature on your doorstep Bombina fits the bill!

Awesome cottage (Forest) set up high in Denmark WA, not fancy but very spacious and has everything you could possibly want/need. Very clean, comfortable beds and lovely wood fire. Definitely the best we have stayed in.

Secluded property right in the heart of Denmark. Wake up to the birds and kangaroos eating right out the front. Spent 7 days here nice and central to explore the great southern region from the hills of the porongorups to the trees of pemberton manjimup. The super IGA is right down the road. So cosy nights by the fire with a home cooked meal made it feel like a second home.

Excellent place to stay, The cottages are well equipped very neat and tidy.

Great quiet little spot on the edge of town. Rustic but enchanting and clean. Lots of wildlife in the grounds. Note: there is a washing machine but no dryer. No wifi but phone reception. Would stay again.

Bombina Cottages - well located, clean, warm and cozy. Wood supplied for the slow combustion stove which was appreciated on a couple of chilly nights. Host very responsive - clear info on access etc etc. No issues with this two bedroom accommodation. We stayed in Forest Cottage - so, you guessed it! - the views were across the forest, with a few kangaroos as part of the vista.

We had a wonderful stay at Bombina Cottages. The location was close to the town centre, but far enough away to be secluded in the bush. The Wood fire, comfy beds and majestic view was conjusive of a peaceful stay. Thank you Elsa

looking for a peaceful/warm respite in 2017 i 'plucked' this place from an assortment of accommodations available that were 'close to town' / within easy reach of town [ =DENMARK .. WESTOZ] - having enjoyed the comfort/solitude [& cosy fire] of this eco friendly cottage i always planned to return with my dtr/son in law & esp my grandkids and we were rewarded [+++] to find that nothing had changed in the last five years = grazing kangaroos raised their heads to greet us/ the facilities were spotless/the background forest had been preserved/abundant birdlife was still in situ - all that was needed to 'upgrade' our stay was to replenish the H2O in the bird bath = pure theatre watching the avian antics - three cottages are on this private/secluded property but despite room for up to seven the eco will always be my 'go to' when i travel solo - the owner elsa is always happy to look after her guests and as as a 'local' is simply a phone call away - it will certainly be less than 5 years before my next stay @ bombina.
