Residence Inn Denver Central Park

clean and very close to shopping district

Perfect location and room. Service was good from front desk. Only issue room keys kept needing to be fixed. Also little noisy spot, but great location shopping, places to eat and proximity to Denver. Oh housekeeping could be little better floors never all clean.

The lobby is dark and the staff are variable in friendliness, some are, some are not, although they are not rude, just seem bored. The breakfast is good. The beds are very comfortable. The rooms are quiet. The kitchen in our unit was very small, only one person at a time could move around. There is not a convenient place to eat, just a small counter. The kitchen was adequately equipped for 2 people. The bathroom was nice. The room was very clean. The location is convenient, but not very attractive, near busy road.

Our family stayed at the Residence Inn over Thanksgiving while visiting relatives. The new management was very kind and positive. It made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend the hotel. The hotel was clean and facilities were top notch for a residence inn including a sports court and fire pit.

This was the usual Residence Inn, but it did have an oven, not just a stove top. The room was clean and the area was good. We were able to find a supermarket and restaurants so options were available. Breakfast was the usual Marriott fare, but this was where service was lacking. The food was not restocked on a timely basis and the coffee was almost always empty. We were downstairs early each day but not there at the exact moment it opened and every time this happened to us. Those who came later in the morning really were out of luck.

If you value quality and honest service, stay away from this place. Dated cheap rooms, entitled staff offering destitute of Marriott ambiance and brand value. Live and learn. We did get our money back.

This was the first time my family was traveling since our son was born. We knew there would be challenges. But not so, here. Upon arrival we were greeted by Nayely, the Asst GM. She was incredibly helpful. We had requested extra pillows, towels and crib service to the room. The towels and pillows were already there and the crib was delivered soon after we got into the room. Nayely offered all sorts of things to help make our stay more pleasant. She pointed out the pool, fitness room and all hotel amenities. She made checking in a VERY smooth process and no matter the (albeit limited) issues I brought to her, she had a quick solution and it was executed very quickly. Our little one made quite a mess in the bathroom and we needed even more towels, they were delivered within minutes. She made sure we knew when the breakfast was and what was offered. She even mentioned a few things that would be perfect for our son that were on the menu. All of that but the big thing is that Nayely clearly was more than glad to assist us in anyway. Some hotels make it seem like you are putting them out to ask for anything, but she was glad to assist. If only every hotel had a Nayely running things. The room was well kept and clean. The crib was delivered to our room and was clean and well kept. Really nothing but positives about the room. Wish I had taken pics for this review. If you need a place to stay in Denver, Residence Inn Central Park is well located and well maintained. I highly recommend this hotel. We will probably make this our go to for every trip through Denver.

It was a nice Residence Inn and we loved the layout of the room, especially the kitchen/living area. Perfect for a family of 4 with one teen sleeping on the couch. The lobby was very nice for gathering with the other families in our group each evening and the breakfast was pretty good. Walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. Nice area. CONS for room: no full length mirror, no place to put luggage, several lightbulbs out and the road noise was so very loud, even at night! Constant trucks, sirens and what sounded like cars racing made it difficult to sleep. Also, requested housekeeping on the 2nd day and all they did was make the bed and take the dirty towels. Did not replenish with fresh towels and left dirty dishes and trash in the kitchen. CONS general: The wifi was terrible! Several people in our group could never get connected. Staff didn't seem to care that we were Marriott Titanium status either. The main entrance did not have a porte cochere so unloading in the rain was not pleasant.

The location was great, right next to a ton of shopping and restaurants, and the rooms were perfectly setup for longer term stays with full Kitchenettes. Nadia at the front desk was absolutely amazing; greeting us every day and making sure we were well taken care of during our stay! Top notch service!
