Hotel Lord Shiva, Deoghar

It was a terrible experience. Low standard room with no telephone, no amenities, malfunctioning flush, shower etc and the list goes on. Poor quality mattress. Not at all a room with 1500 tariff. Deserves 0 star

Writing a single word for this hotel is the insult of the word worst. Only rates are top of the world but services. Save lord shiva

Rooms were very neat and clean,, staff behavior was also good. The issue which i had to face regarding food and breakfast. Staff were not trained enough to deliver the breakfast and lunch /dinner on time. Though it has kitchen but they were not willing to server the breakfast on time. It took more than 2 hours time to deliver poori and sabzi for morning breakfast.

Room was average location is good hygeinue wise it was so so safety standards was ok i will rate it on 6 on a scale of 10

I want to share few points which may help you to improve hotel and also may helpful for visitors - 1. Cupboard door hinges were out 2. Too much mosquitoes. After request repellent was provided. 3. Towels were torn. 4. Being a religious place warm water supply must be available after 4 in the morning. Which is after request. 5. Welcome water bottle with a glass must be available. 6. Local visitor guid may be available to visitors with baba baidyanath darshan schedule. 7. During festival time and season visitors must be guided to have darshan with vip ticket other wise darshan not possible in a day ( due to huge rush) and big line. Devotees have to walk through barricaded lines in two big hall having 25 rows at each floor and about 200 meters outside the hall which may take about 6 hrs, which i have faced. Note - vip line may take half an hour to one hr. Ticket cost rs 500 for each devotees. * of course hotal staff well behaved.

Property is located in very isolated area. There were lots of insects and dead bugs in hotel lobby and the room quality was very much compromised. I don't recommend you this hotel from my personal experience.

Peaceful and quiet. Also neat and clean. I had gone there for some exam. purpose. I didn't feel any disturb.

it is 10 mins from railway station and 10 mins from tower chowk. amazing place filled with great ambience and warmth. there is no such restaurant in it but you can get good room service if ordered 1 hr before. Food quality is not too spicy. amazing stay!
