High Mountain Resort – Meili Hotel Reviews

You can see that it is an old hotel and can't really compare with other 5 star hotels on many aspects. But it is probably understandable considering the very remote location. Nevertheless, we were extremely satisfied with their service, especially from Ms Angel. Firstly, they gave us a free room upgrade and even decorated our room nicely after knowing that we were on our honeymoon. Angel also contacted us beforehand to make sure everything was ok, she was so friendly and helpful throughout, and when we were leaving, she even went out of her way to make multiple phone calls to make sure our bus seats back to Shangri-la was secured. Would highly recommend for the hospitality alone.

As expected from 5 stars hotel, service was beyond expectations. We got avroom with very good view. Meili Snow mountain was in front of us. We can see the sunrise from our room. Amenitiescwas superb. Both room and toilet are warm. Toiletries were abundance. Hotel staff from reception, room service to breakfast, are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good too, with so many choices. I can only praise. No complaints Before check-out, the staff .passed us a bag with 4 bottles of water for our trip. Thank you for your hospitalities.

Best place to watch the sunrise over Meili Snow Mountain. Attentive staff with a beautiful room, with an awesomw view. There is a stairway that leads to the Feilaisi viewing platform. If you are travelling with an elderly like me, good to check out which rooms to avoid stairs. We were lucky to be upgraded to the suite, which came with a beautiful view. However, there was a flight of stairs. The lobby staff can buggy you up, then you can. climb down instead of up the stairs. A premier location which costs much more. If you just need a simple clean place to stay, in order to catch the sunrise, there are many more affordable choices just next to this hotel.

Facilities: Excellent location, very considerate and practical facilities, it would be even better if there was an oxygen concentrator in the room Hygiene: Very clean, including the carpet, the hotel is equipped with disposable toilet mats, and disposable bathtub covers for bathing, which is very considerate Environment: There are many delicious foods around, and they are all within a 10-minute walk Service: The service is very good, the young man is very enthusiastic, including sending luggage to the room, introducing room facilities, breakfast location, viewing points, photo spots, and adding the manager Zhuoma’s WeChat that night. Zhuoma also sent fruit and hot milk in the evening, and a blessing card when checking out. The overall experience is good!

Environment: Watching the sunrise and the Meili Snow Mountain is great. The location is great, but unfortunately I didn't see the sunrise over the Golden Mountain. I booked the wrong room. I wanted to stay in a larger room, so I booked a 2-bedroom villa. When I arrived, I was told that I couldn't see the snow mountain. I was speechless. Facilities: Although the room decoration is in an older style, it is not as old and broken as some people commented. The bathroom in our room is still very clean and new. I guess it's because there are relatively few guests staying there. Service: There is also hot milk delivered in the evening. There is also a large fruit bowl when you check in. However, apart from our room, I think the lobby is very old and the breakfast room is also old, but it still does not affect the beauty of the Meili Snow Mountain. Of course, you can't be too demanding in a small county. Overall, I am satisfied.

The room facilities are very good and the area is large. There is a large hot spring pool that the children like. The breakfast is rich and tastes good. The room we stayed in has the best view. It can face Kawagebo directly without any buildings blocking the view. The view is very, very good. In addition, special thanks to the staff Feng Shifen, who contacted us to ask about our preferences before we checked in, sent us a dinner menu, added bedding after check-in, reserved a dining seat with a good view, and sent us warm yak milk before going to bed. The response was timely and the service was thoughtful. I look forward to staying at Gaoshan Villa Hotel again.

A perfect and lucky trip! The Alpine Villa is located above Feilai Temple. The Supreme Snow View Room faces the main peak of Kawagebo. From the balcony and the room, you can clearly see the full view of Meili Snow Mountain and the Rizhao Jinshan. It can be said that it is a formal, large and powerful hotel with an excellent geographical location in Deqin. In the morning, you can greet the first ray of sunshine in Meili on the balcony, and in the evening, you can look up to the starry sky. You can eat three meals a day in the hotel restaurant. Breakfast is a buffet. Although it is not as good as the five-star hotel in the city, it is already very good in terms of local conditions. Fried eggs, freshly made noodles and rice noodles, milk tea, buns..., the main meal is midnight, there are special hot pots and stir-fried dishes, the taste is good, and the restaurant service staff are very warm and simple! The hardware of the room is a little old, but it is already a first-class hotel in the local area. The room is very warm, with floor heating, 24-hour hot water, and free fruit every day! The hotel service is very good, and the supplies are all available. In particular, the hotel's duty manager Zhuoma and the housekeeper Zhuoma who is in charge of room service are warm and caring about the needs of guests. Before arriving in Deqin, they contacted me many times to ask about my needs, inform me of the road conditions, and give me precautions... I am very grateful to all the hotel staff and the two managers for fulfilling our wish this time. We stayed for two consecutive nights and watched the wonders of the Meili Snow Mountain in the sun from the balcony of the room for two consecutive days. It was worth the trip!

The room facilities are aging: the TV is difficult to use and can only be pulled out from the corner, and it can't be seen in full screen. When it is turned on, it is very troublesome to switch to HMDI. The hotel staff is dishonest: 1. The Hermes scarf was lost in the hotel. The hotel said to add WeChat, but no one replied after adding it for two whole days. 2. My boyfriend had altitude sickness in the hotel and asked if there was an oxygen machine. The hotel directly said no, only oxygen tanks were 50 yuan per bottle. Such a large five-star hotel at an altitude of 3500 without an oxygen concentrator is not as good as the guesthouse next door for a few hundred yuan. After complaining to Ctrip, they said there were 2 oxygen concentrators but guests needed to go to the lobby to breathe. 3. The corners of the hotel bathroom are full of black spots. Summary: The facilities are seriously aging, the service is poor, and the toilet is not clean with black stains in the corners. I will never stay in this hotel and I don't recommend it to my fellow travelers.
